If you’re a perfectionist, detail oriented, micro-​manager type of person, HIRE THEM!!! I am very picky and my biggest critic to say the least; I want everything to be perfect! When you’re a bride, spending all that money and time into one day, everything better be worth it. When we came across Carla & Rizzel, my husband and I (fiancé then) were amazed. I thought I had everything down, but at our first meeting, it was a huge reality check. They asked us questions we never would have thought of on our own, or would have missed had we not hired them. They are friendly, professional and ORGANIZED! I thought I was organized until I met them! My mind was blown when I saw their detailed Master Timeline. They kept us in check since day one and they were available via email any time I needed a question answered or a simple opinion. They were honest and real. I loved that about them. I needed that. Every meeting, they came on time, prepared and ready to tackle anything and everything. I was super stressed planning this wedding of 200 guests at the Bently Reserve, but they always reassured me everything was going to be fine. They were right!!! Not only did they make the process easier, but the day of… WAS PERFECT! And that’s an understatement. Everything I imagined and more. They truly made our vision come to life. I always worry about everything and all the little details, but they took care of it all. They even had food and alcohol ready for us during cocktail hour. They always checked in with us to see if we needed anything. They kept the day/​night smooth. Because of them, we were able to fully enjoy ourselves and soak in every second of it. I remember filling out a questionnaire early on, and they asked how we imagined our perfect day… we said we wanted it to be memorable, fun, and stress free. And IT WAS!!! Our guests complimented everything about it. That’s all we could ever ask for. It was definitely unforgettable and the best night of our lives. I cannot express how thankful we are. We’d be lost without them. If I can give you one piece of advice… do not hesitate to hire them!!!

I can speak for folks planning a somewhat smaller (less than 75 people) budget-​friendly wedding at a ceremony site+restaurant thinking «Meh, I don’t need a wedding coordinator — I’m not even sure what they do; the folks at both places probably have this down.»
Wrong.
I thought I was a detail-​oriented person enough to manage the particulars of our wedding, but many things became clearer as our wedding approached and as we had a preliminary meeting w/​Carla and Rizzel:
1) We didn’t have enough time to get everything done with our jobs and lack of free time
2) We didn’t anticipate a number of details that only a wedding coordinator would have pointed out
3) It didn’t sink in that managing details the day of or in having family members /​friends enlisted to do all this, nobody was going to be able to fully enjoy themselves
4) For even the reasonable amount of money we were spending on our wedding, it would be a shame to not have the details buttoned up
Carla and Rizzel’s services and price were extremely affordable. They did an amazing job helping plan our timeline, keeping our forgetful restaurant coordinator on-​task, setting up our reception, making sure we were fed, overseeing our music playlist, taking care of a too-​much-​alcohol incident at the wedding, managing the liquor quota in terms of $… the list goes on. I really can’t point to anything that went «wrong» during the wedding — we were left to enjoy our day and make the most of it; Carla and Rizzel did all the leg-​work to keep things going smoothly.
So back to the first point I made about thinking initially we didn’t need a day-​of-​coordinator — that was simply foolish. I can’t count enough times my (now) wife and I looked at each other (throughout the planning, during our wedding) reaffirming how wise a decision it was to hire Zella Events. We HIGHLY recommend them!

As someone who is extremely nitpicky and detail oriented, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my wedding day unless I had somebody else watching the details of the day like a hawk on my behalf. Carla and Rizzel ended up being great choices for day of wedding coordinators, as their expert hawk eyes clued me in on things my own inexperienced hawkling eyes did not even see. From our first initial meeting, I could sense their experience. They were very friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. We kept in touch throughout the year as I was planning my wedding, even though technically they were only for the day/​month of. I emailed them several times and they were very prompt and responsive with advice and suggestions each time.
Carla and Rizzel were great in setting up my timeline and helping out with rehearsal, and of course with the actual day of the wedding. They had a detailed timeline for the wedding (plus differentiated timelines for different groups if our wedding party), which totally turned on my super-​organized self. They ran our rehearsal, contacted all of our vendors the week of, and essentially let me be a bride instead of a bridezilla. I felt like I was in great hands the day of my wedding, and just sat back and let myself be guided by Carla and Rizzel. For any bride that actually wants to enjoy their wedding day, I cannot express how happy I was to invest in having Zella Events be my day-​of coordinators.

I hired Zella Events to coordinate my banquet and they did a great job. They were able to help me coordinate the event from top to bottom. They were able to help me plan the event in a timely manner and handled all vendor communication on my behalf. They were able to work with me and help me put my ideas into the event.
If you want your event to be a success, i would highly suggest hiring Zella Events.

We hired Zella Events to coordinate our wedding on 9÷9÷11. They were the BEST! Not only are they personable and funny but highly organized and professional. We felt so at ease and stress free on our wedding day because we knew they orchestrated the event so flawlessly. They truly put a lot of care in coordinating our wedding and we highly recommend them for any of your events.

I was very skeptical about hiring a wedding planner. I was having a «small» wedding and I didn’t think I needed any help. I thought I had everything under control. At some point I got overwhelmed and decided that I needed some help, so I hired Zella. It was the best decision I ever made! I realized right away that there were SO many details that I hadn’t even considered. They made sure that everything got done and made sure that I relaxed as much as possible. The were extremely organized and made sure to be in contact with all our vendors. The day of the wedding, they made sure that everything was done perfectly. I didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. Zella made sure that everything was done for me. All I did was show up and enjoy myself. I picture trying to get this event done without a Zella and I cringe. If I ever plan another large event, I will definitely hire Zella Events again! Thanks Zella, you guys were amazing!

I hired Zella Events for my wedding last October to be my coordinators for the day of the wedding.
I told Carla and Rizzel (they are both the owners), that I didn’t want to think about the timeline that day, I didn’t want to worry about what was to happen next… etc. the list goes on. Not only did the make sure all this happen, but they absolutely went above and beyond my expectations.
They met up with my husband and I, 1 month before and each week until the wedding. I had already made lists and diagrams for the ceremony and reception, but Rizzel is a whiz at diagrams and made it even better.
Carla came up with a great idea of having a table commemorating my mom, who had passed 2 years ago. It was such a lovely and beautiful table — this was a wonderful way of making me feel my mom with with me.
They took to the time to be available when I needed to talk and returned all messages within 12 hours. Zella is above and beyond organized and extremely professional.
During the wedding, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Seriously. Not one thing… they had back up copies of the vows we wrote, put my 2^nd dress up and put my 2^nd change of shoes next to it, had my flip flops underneath the table during dinner… the list goes on. There was always food for us to eat and made sure we drank lots of water.
From the planning to the execution of the wedding, Zella was with me for many steps along the way and I have to say I couldn’t have done it without them.
I know I’ll be using them to plan my baby showers!

Patient, Resourceful, Detail Oriented and great to work with.
Assisted my sister put together a 30^th Birthday party that was outstanding. They were able to find a great venue in Santa Clara, negotiate a great price and date in the pre-​arranged event budget.
The party went with out any issues and would use her in future events.

I would give Zella Events 10 stars if I could!
I was lucky to have Zella Events as my Day Of Coordinators for my wedding. My husband and I were really blown away with their services. Zella Events helped us out immensely during the month before our wedding. They thought of things we never would have thought about. They are highly organized and very professional. They got along well with our other wedding vendors. Zella Events maintained excellent communication with all of our vendors. They did not police our families, bridal party, and guests like some other coordinators out there.
The day of our wedding we did not have a watch, phone, etc. Zella Events stuck to the timeline right down to the second. They kept us in check but in a good way. They kept reminding us of what was going to happen next which was good because we kept forgetting. They made sure we had something to eat, had something to drink, etc. Their behind the scenes plan is really something they should be proud of. Everything ran so smoothly and well executed. Zella Events really allowed us to enjoy our wedding day. I do not know what we would have done without them, they are lifesavers.
