Prenatal Method helps women and their partners become advocates for themselves and their babies, through education. There are so many options that exist regarding the birth experience, and your care provider, it can be hard to make these choices.
The Prenatal Method offers an alternative to more limited traditional birth practices. Our program looks at the whole experience. Different bodies and minds require different paths. Our studio and teachings are for women who want to birth in a hospital, or birth center, as well as those that birth at home.
The body prepares for labor through the practice of yoga, and movement in our classes. The mind prepares for birth with knowledge gleaned from classes in birth education. The birth mother and her partner will gain strength in both the mind and body, as you work together to prepare for the arrival of your baby.
Prenatal Method is for women who want any form of pain relief in labor, from the classic epidural, to aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, acupuncture and other alternative forms of pain relief in labor. There is no «right» way to have a baby… only the way that is right for you.
We provide you with the tools to ask for what you want, and to help you make educated decisions based on research and facts, not on myths or stories. We guide you towards knowledge and trust in your body, from the connection of the body and mind.
Our role is to be a supporter of your pregnancy and birth experience.
