I’m really torn about Vera Bradley recently. I’ve been buying Vera Bradley bags for years, and I’m in love with the patterns and designs. Recently, the quality of the bags has been getting poorer and poorer. About a month ago the clasp on a brand new bag I bought broke completely off. The stitching has been uneven on some bags I bought recently, and a strap broke within a couple of weeks. Like one of the previous reviewers mentioned, they’re usually pretty good about either an exchange or, if the bag is older, a gift card. I certainly can’t complain from that regard. Some of the staff at this store are very helpful but one or two are not particularly friendly. I recently sent an email to Vera Bradley Customer Service to let them know my experience with their products of late and they sent me a nice gift card for my troubles. They typically handle problems well, but the quality just isn’t there anymore. Sorry to say…

I’ve been a loyal fan/customer of vera bradley for many many years. My husband and checking account can also vouch for me. Today I was in the Burlington Mall. I popped into this store to inquire about their warranty. I had with me my much loved and used baby diaper bag. The shoulder strap was ripped and the fabric was coming completely off. The manager told me that the warranty was only 90 days and that most bags that get daily use will show wear within 9 months. I had this bag for 18+ months. This is when the real magic happened. The manager Amy offered to take my bag and give me a trade in credit for a new bag. She checked in the system and gave me the current selling price which was only 30 less than I paid for it brand new. I was so please. This was truly above and beyond in the area of great customer service. I will definitely be giving all my Vera Bradley business to this location. Kudos to a company that provides stellar customer service
