Description

Specialties

At the new Burnet Feed Store BBQ you’ll find plenty of grilled and smoked favorites, including chicken, beef, pork, and mouth-watering ribs, all smoked and slow cooked to perfection. All of our choice grade meats are pre-rubbed with a unique blend of spices and marinated for hours before mesquite smoking them in our custom smokers to create barbecue that is both tender and flavorful. And of course BBQ isn’t BBQ without home-style beans (with/without sausage), potato salad„ cream corn, okra and cole slaw, and oven-baked cobblers and brownies for desert. Everything on the menu is available a la carte, so you can stop in for a quick lunch or bring down the whole family for a relaxing country style meal together. The menu also includes lunch specials and kid’s meals, and take-out is available if you’re short on time.

History

Established in 2009.

Nothing is more All-American than BBQ and nothing is more Hill-Country than the Burnet Feed Store BBQ. Originally opened in 1977 as the Burnet Feed & Supply Store by James & Jim Banner, the Burnet Feed Store has found renewed life as a family style BBQ under the proud ownership of Burnet resident, Lorenzo Romero. Lorenzo has taken great care to maintain the roots of the old feed store and create an atmosphere that is family friendly and 100% Hill-Country!
