Business Owner

The founder Michael Esch started in the business in 1974, shortly after completing his BS degree in business from the University of MN. After working as the national top salesperson for the largest drapery and blind company in the country at the time, for 17 years, he started his own company with two partners. Together the three of them developed this drapery and blind company into the largest in the Midwest. In 2006 they sold the business. Michael decided a bit later it was time to start another company and so in September of 2008 Custom Drapery and Blinds by Michael Esch was born. With over 10,000 former customers all the leading manufacturers were eager to help CDABBYME get going. Today Custom Drapery and Blinds by Michael Esch is one of the leading window coverings businesses in the area.
