Today was my first visit to Fuji Sushi & Bakery. We were surprised to see a bakery case full of Chinese baked breads and desserts! Yes, and at the Burnsville Center! A friendly and smiley lady named Carolina greeted us and it turns out she is the baker of these wonderful breads and pastries AND CAKES! We started ordering two of everything and left with a giant box of goodies to bring home. The barbecue pork buns and egg tarts were so similar to those that I grew up eating at dim sum restaurants. The bread buns filled with custard and coconut were also very good! I am only giving 4 starts to Fuji Sushi & Bakery because I have not actually tried their sushi, but if I were to rate the baked goods alone, Carolina gets 5 stars! She is not only an excellent baker, she is really good at customer service. We will be back!

We love the Cake they made for my mom’s birthday! Its just like the cakes you get in California! Our family doesn’t like cakes that are too sweet. This cake brings out the fruit flavor.

I am sceptical to try the raw fish, so I got the cooked stuff. The lover’s roll was yummy. I also got the volcano roll, or something like that. It was too chewy for me. The sweet potato tempera, I didnt like the type of batter they used. Also got the seaweed salad, very delicious!
