Minta Driveway Services

Found this company from Unilocal.Had great reviews so I thought I would give them a try. Tony was so awesome to deal with and they did an amazing job. He got to my driveway quickly and was available every time I called. He responded to my questions on my time. Use with confidence.

Tony, the owner, was very communicative, timely, thoughtful and the driveway is perfect. I called several companies located closer to our home and experienced terrible customer service. His quote did not change, his crew cleaned up after they were done and all were polite and even smiling as they worked! Sadly I only have one driveway that needed their attention as they would get my business every single time!

Tony fixed my eroding apron on my driveway. He was very easy to work with, courteous, delivered as promised. I would strongly recommend Minta for any driveway repair.
Upon initial contact, he returned my call promptly and performed the work as described and within a week. I thought everything was done for a fair price.

I’m resorting to writing a review on Minta after numerous attempts to contact them to discuss the sealcoating they performed on my driveway in Sept. of 2012. They arrived on time, performed the work as described and did a very nice job.
However, just six months later, the entire surface has lifted off, not just in spots but across the entire driveway. It starts with the surface bubbling, blistering until it gets washed away with rain or snow. The end of my driveway at the street, prior to today’s rain, had piles of all the material that had been applied to the driveway. My neighbors who have had their driveways sealed by other companies several years ago still look great but mine looks terrible.
I’m not at all pleased with Minta and would NOT recommend them.
Update: March 21, 2013 — Finally got a call back from Tony of Minta who had been out of the country for three months and was returning my multiple calls and email. I appreciate that he returned my call but as I pointed out to him, it’s probably a good idea as a business owner to notify people that you’re out of the country and won’t respond in a timely fashion. Enough about that. Tony has committed to looking at the issue once it warms up and will make it right. I’ll take him at his word and will update when the issue has been resolved, when the weather is warmer.
May 17, 2013 — I got an unprompted call from Tony a couple of weeks ago saying he wanted to come out and correct the issue. We’ve been having some other work done so I finally got back to him today to say let’s wait another 2 – 3 weeks until the other contractors are gone and the trees are done dropping seeds. He agreed, I’ll update after complete resolution.
Aug. 28, 2014 — As promised, Tony followed up and after our driveway was free of construction trucks for other work, he and his worker came out and re-​sealed our driveway. He was very prompt and polite. The driveway looks great and I hope the material holds better than last time. I’ll update this review when I see how the material holds. I’m increasing my rating of Minta to Three Stars based on Tony’s responsiveness, will adjust come spring.
May 2, 2014 — Well, another full winter and spring weather has beat down on the new surface coating from Minta and it held up as expected. Tony has reached out to me to ensure I was pleased with how it held up and I’m pleased with his service. I did not call him this winter to see if he has made changes to his business practice of alerting customers that he was out of the country for an extended period of time but presume he has done that. Tony seems like a very conscientious small business owner and has been focused on making things right with me. I would recommend Minta to others.
