Serendipity Cabin

We were so lucky to snatch up this cabin for Memorial Day weekend! It was exactly what we needed when it came to relaxation, but also comfort. The cabin has a fully-​stocked kitchen (utensils and gadgets and such; not food), the bed and couch were comfortable, and the wrap-​around porch was divine. I even played on the swings in the front yard and waved at passers-​by like I owned the place.
The location is fabulous. There’s a cute little stream right across the street, and then great hiking (with waterfalls!) not far at all. A lot of the folks who signed the guest book mentioned that they hiked Mt. Mitchell, which is practically in the backyard.
The owners make it quite clear that there’s coffee, filters, creamer, and other condiments in the cabin, but there’s no way for them to know if they’ve been depleted. I really appreciated the heads-​up, but they have folks managing and cleaning the place in between visitors, so it would be way more convenient and relaxing if those things were just taken care of. Same goes for taking out the trash – you have to take it with you on your way out of town (or they charge you $ 10 per bag left at the cabin).
Overall, though, the cabin was great, the price was right, and the owners were really responsive. Plus, I love that it’s dog-​friendly! We’ll definitely be back.

If your thinking of taking your family to a relaxing getaway… Stop searching this is the cabin for you. Serendipity was better then we thought… I’m taking to write this review thats how good it was for our family. We will be back.
