All I can say… is when u r in a time of mourning… flowers for a not so happy occasion… The team at Vince’s went above and beyond… going threw this process of loosing a loved one and seeing the«business side of money making» of someone passing… well it just was awful… but then there r people like the crew at Vince’s…they r honest and the quality of there flowers and design… When we walked in the parlor it was like heaven on earth. never had we seen such beautiful display… it made it a tad easier to breathe when we saw how beautiful our dads room was… so from the bottom of our hearts thank you for taking such pride in your work and for not loosing compassion .we will be using Vince’s for any type of occasion we have to come… definetly check them out

Vince and carol run chicagos best mom and pop shop! Weddings, graduation, prom… ive experienced all events with them and truly appreciate their consistent service. Their designs are unique. It seems they are always up with the trends in flowers, but maintain a timeless look that is always beautiful. Contrary to the review below they have always given me and my family 5 star service and product to match. After reading the poor review i felt inclined to vouge for that. Keep it up Vince and Carol. You guys rock.

My family is a huge fan of Vince’s, so when my sister was receiving her Master’s degree, I looked no further for my botanical gift. I chose a lovely floral arrangement that cost around $ 60 – 70, and decided to have it delivered since I would be out of town for the ceremony. What I wanted to happen: my sister would go to her graduation and be merry, have brunch with our parents, and come home to end the day – only to find more flowers! What actually happened: my sister went to her graduation and was merry, had brunch with our parents, and came home to nothing. When I came back from my vacation, I had asked her about the flowers – only to realize that they never came. I soon called Vince’s to see what had happened; they told me that they tried to deliver several times, however, nobody answered the door. Fine. But they never even called or emailed to let me know!!! Seeing that the event had already passed, I thought it wouldn’t be worthwhile to have the flowers delivered almost two weeks after the fact, so I had requested my money back. The guy on the phone told me I would have to check back with them in a week because the«girl who handles the finances» would be in then. ??? Fast forward to a few days later: I spoke with my sister again, who also called Vince’s. They let her know that they were planning on delivering the flowers that week(even though I had requested my money back???). I didn’t bother calling the next week because I was under the impression that the flowers would be delivered(and my sister was expecting them, so why would I take them back). Fast forward to a week later: STILL. NO. FLOWERS. STILLHAVENOIDEAWHYTHEYNEVERDELIVERED, ANDALSODONOTHAVEMYMONEYBACK. 0 stars customer service. DONOT recommend. I had stopped into Vince’s last minute on Mother’s Day. I just wanted tulips but the woman there was kind enough to suggest some green filler I could put in to make it look better. She put it together for me and it was beautiful. Reasonable prices too. So, I wanted to order flowers for delivery since they did such a good job then. I chose the«Arrive In Style» bouquet online and put my order in 6 days ahead of time. I was pleased to know they deliver to the city. I asked that it be delivered between AM and noon, it was just a few minutes late but it worked out nonetheless. They were beautiful and appreciated, so that’s all that matters. My reason for not giving a 5th star is due to lack of communication. I received no confirmation email or call. I called myself the day after my order to make sure everything went through and they confirmed. I then called today to see if they had been delivered yet and to get an estimated time. I think email updates would be great! Other than that, they did a great job and I will definitely continue to use Vince’s in the future!

And another winning arrangement arrived today from Vince’s! Beautiful Gerber daisies, roses, sunflowers and more adorned with cinnamon bark.. .. this was just a lovely surprise! I love the creativity Vince’s brings to everything they do. Still a big fan!

Vince’s was the last florist we visited for our August, 2014 wedding, and we almost didn’t go. We went to five others and figured we had seen everything and knew the prices, and besides we had a birthday party to get to. But it was on the way so we stopped, and we’re thrilled we did. Carol helped us and really took an interest in the vision my wife had about the flowers. She made suggestions that proved to be really helpful. And she’s just a fun lady who made us feel comfortable. And the price was very reasonable. In fact, once we saw the price, we were sold. Vince delivered the flowers the day of and they were spectacular. Everything went through without a hitch. I highly recommend Vince’s for any event, especially weddings.

Best kept secret in town for sure! I went to Vince’s in search for the best wedding flowers in town and they did not let me down. Carol was amazing to work with and really listened to what I was interested in. When I came in for the centerpiece trial I was blown away by how beautiful everything looked. On the day of the wedding the flowers were even more beautiful than I rememebered and was getting compliments all day and night. Vinces does amazing work and would recommend them to anyone. The flowers were fresh and 2 weeks later still alive! Thank you Vince’s for making my wedding day so special and for your amazing customer service! I can’t wait to work with you again in the near future!

Fantastic florist tucked away in Burr Ridge. Yes, the real florist like they used to be. You walk in, people are friendly, they have coolers all over the store with extremely fresh flowers inside. You can tell them what you want and they will make it for you —- This is not your big-box warehouse club flower shop. For this personalized service be prepared to pay slightly higher prices than the warehouse club too, but it’s worth it. They have portfolios inside showcasing their work for weddings, parties, events, etc. They also carry a huge selection of house plants and even offer some landscaping services.

My boyfriend sent me flowers for our 7th anniversary last week as a surprise. The yellow lilly bouquet came delieverd to my office. The first thing I saw,… 2 large«GETWELL» balloons, as the flowers were wrapped in paper. I told the driver that this was a mistake. He said, is this you, I said it was but that the balloons must be a mistake and that this should be for my anniversary. He had me sign, and completely left. I thought that MAYBE my boyfriend played a joke on me. I called him and he was mad. He did not pay for GETWELL, but for Happy Anniversary! I called the shop to let them know of this mistake,… The woman on the phone asked the assistant in the background(who I could hear). «Did you put the 2 get well balloons with the wrong bouquet?» SHEDID! The woman on the phone’s only excuse, she was making 3 flower arrangements at the same time… Well maybe for accuracy they should focus on 1 at a time! I was VERY embarrased at work since people kept asking me if I was«okay» and«what’s wrong». This romatic gift turned regretable. I wish he didn’t spend the money on it. What really upsets me is that they weren’t remorseful. People can’t afford to spend $ 75 on flowers all the time. It’s supposed to be special and a wonderful surprise. When I called, there was no «I’m sorry, let me refund the balloons»… but… they told me they would«pick up the incorrect balloons tomorrow and bring the correct one» What really makes me mad is that these flowers are dying already. They have started to fall and scatter my countertop with petals. The next day when the driver came back to give me the correct«balloon»,(Yes folks, they brought me 1 balloon and took back 2). There was NO apology again… the driver said«whoops» and took his merchandise back. I feel bad for the person in the hospital that got my HAPPYANNIVERSARY balloon. Poor Poor customer Service! Never EVERAGAIN… BEADVISED!
