So I was preparing my ride for the long Memorial Day drive ahead and needed a tire rotation. I saw this place and decided to try them, even though there is a Discount Tire literally across the street. Well, I should have stuck with Discount Tire. I get out of the car and right away I want to turn around, but I didn’t. Mistake#2.
Anyways, I go in and request a tire rotation, the guy says about 20 minutes. Okay fine. Here is why I am giving this place one star.
After taking my information, I say okay, so I’ll just hang out. Meaning I’ll be around until the car is ready. His reply? «Well, you could sweep the floor of you want to.» Huh. It just totally rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I’m too much of a feminist (and I guarantee that’s the case in my neighborhood where all the men drive trucks and the women are required to know how to clean and load a firearm) but it was just inappropriate in my book.
If you are a guy, knock yourself out, you’ll be fine. But as a female, if I ever had to pay for a service here… Well, I just wouldn’t.
