Went here when we first moved to Byron center. Was not impressed. First pricing for breakfast was expensive. I can drive 15 miles out of my way to have better food for almost half the price.

Just wasn’t that impressed. It was not awful food but the place is cramped. The staff was ok but the clientele had there noses so high you thought there was something wrong with there necks. Save your money and eat at McDonalds!

Like so many other people have mentioned, the staff here is very nice. Went here for breakfast and had a tough time deciding because everything looks very good. I went with an omelet which they also have many styles of. It is offered in two or three egg mode. I order two and was thinking I should have went with three however the omelet was huge. Crazy packed with fresh ingredients. I had forgot to ask for hot sauce at first so went I made eye contact with our server she mouthed«oh yeah hot sauce» like she had read my mind. 2 microseconds later I have an array of hot sauce options on the table. My better half went with two eggs medium over easy and hash. She said they where the best darn eggs she’s had in a long time. It is very difficult to get an egg perfect medium and they really pull it off well here. The corned beef hash was excellent as well. Perfectly done and browned to perfection, so good. It worth mentioning how well they do at keeping your coffee and water filled. It’s as if you don’t get just one server, everyone there is helping out with every table. It is also worth mentioning again how nice everyone there is, it really spreads a cheerful essance over the whole place. It seemed like a very popular casual dinner, always packed but the place is big and has several seating selections. They serve large portions and it is very reasonably priced. It’s a drive for me to get there but I will for sure be back.

So this is my third time at this fine establishment and I must say they do not disappoint! Three times I’ve had breakfast here on three different days of the week and spread apart. This is three opportunities to see that the first experience was a fluke, yet here they are consistent to a T! Excellent service, excellent food, and the eggs are NEVER coddled! They know how to do it up right! So if you’re driving through Byron Center and you need a great tasting meal with a family atmosphere stop in here. You will NOT be disappointed!

Great customer service and food! They truly go the extra mile. Only downfall is they are not open for Sunday breakfast.

LOCATION: Located right on 84th street in Byron Center, on the North side of the street. Parking can be tricky with the way they have the side roads going, so take note of that. STAFF: I came here on 6÷5÷2015 at around 3:30pm, they place had a few people in it otherwise very quiet(which is how I like it!). The waitress was kind and did a good job. FOOD: I got the salad bar which included soup, salad, other types of salads, and desert for $ 7.99(I think that was a lunch special for Friday). My table also had cheeseburger kids meals for I believe it was $ 3.99. The salad bar was good; soups were hot, the lettuce was a little brown but that happens, everything else was cold(which is how it should be!) I was very happy with my food. My kids burgers looked alright, nothing special but it wasn’t horrible which is what matters most! Overall I like this place and will come back again.

The burger is «fresh» from the meat market next door but it looks and tastes pre-formed and like it’s been frozen. Fried mushrooms were pretty darn good and the olive spread was good. The burger just reminded me far too much of the high school cafeteria.

Classic small town eatery. Right on the main road in the middle of town. Well maintained with tables and booths. From reading other reviews, it looks like they do a good breakfast business. Indeed, breakfast is served all day. However, we decided on lunch. My wife having the turkey and bacon wrap and I had the slim gem sandwich and fries special. Both were solid choices, although any sides such as fries, soup or celery and carrots are extra, but less than $ 1, so not much to complain about. However, a few chips included with a sandwich or wrap would be expected in most restaurants. I would have liked to have seen the ham on my hoagie bun stacked a little higher. They have a help yourself salad bar and a taco bar that I might try if I return. Out waitress was friendly and efficient. All in all, a good but not great lunch experience. I will give it another go if I am in the area.

Best breakfast anywhere. No beating price, quality, or quantity. I never leave hungry, and always leave happy. The staff works tirelessly and sets an impossibly high bar for service. «Big Daddy» breakfast is unparalleled. Dinnertime special changes daily and coupled with the salad bar is a recipe for this glutton. True gem in Byron Center.

Good standard breakfast food. Went there with the whole family(6 total) and had great friendly service, good coffee and good eats. I had usual breakfast of pancakes eggs over medium and crispy bacon. Eggs over medium is rarely done the way I like(actually medium not to rubyr not to hard) but the cook did it perfectly. My brother-in-law had the meat lovers omelet and it was HUGE and meat filed just as advertised. No complaints, only rated 4 stars instead of 5 because 5 is reserved for a special new experience where this was a very acceptable breakfast

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. I ate there every morning when I was in town. Too bad they aren’t open on Sundays.
