What a great experience! Salesperson Anthony was helpful, knowledgable, and patient (I did three test drives). General Manager and Finance and Insurance Manager Kristen were the icing on the cake. These three made buying our new mini fun! We had FUN buying a car. Go figure…

We were hesitant to take our Mini to the dealership to get our thermostat replaced. We’ve had not so great experiences working with «dealerships» for «repair services» but the thermostat was an issue that was under warranty so we had to pick a dealership to go to. Bob Smith Mini was referred to us by a friend that goes there so we thought let’s go there to get this issue resolved. Sue Bolger, the service manager took care of our situation from A to Z. I took the car in on the morning of 6÷7÷16, got the loaner car and came back later that day and all was done. No hassle. It was a smooth process. Thank you Sue for taking care of our warranty situation /​service!

Super easy buying experience here. Everything was straight forward and our sales person Justin was really great.

I wrote a review on this place which they had removed. Here goes my second try. I actually purchased a car here so I have a right to share my thoughts. They have an employee in his seventies I would guess who goes by the name Rockstar. He is not pleasant or friendly and he looks totally unprofessional. I find it obnoxious and as a consumer I believe it is reasonable that I can expect to be serviced by professionally presents polite people. My next letter is to mini cooperate. Try to erase that!!! Rockstar clearly has a screw loose and so does the management that hired him.

I’ve wanted a Mini for the longest time and finally decided to get one. I was completely taken aback as to how attentive the staff was here. Wayne and Anthony really went the extra mile, no pun intended, to get me the best possible price for my new Countryman and I couldn’t be happier with it. They really care about your satisfaction! :)
If you want a Mini, don’t waste your time looking for a better place to go, because this is it!

I bought my Mini in Camarillo but I won’t be taking it there for service. In fact I’m in the market to buy a new convertible and will be going to Bob Smith to do it. People there are GREAT and they are totally customer driven unlike Camarillo.

Had an excellent overall experience. The wife and I went there out of curiosity to see if i would fit into a mini. Found a Countryman that caught our eye, and purchased it and took it home. The most fun I have ever had buying a car.
To some it up! We will probably be revisiting the mini store in the next couple months to buy a second mini.

Be sure to get all offers with purchase in writing! My family has bought two brand new cars here, in cash. A couple years later, when my Sirius radio (which I was told at time of purchase that I would have it for free for the cars life time) quit working, I called to inquire. After being passed around to multiple people, I was told that «they have never heard of this offer». … ok. No one there was of any help. Seems to me that you would want decent reputation when a new mini dealership opened up less than an hour away (camarillo). Especially with a multiple vehicle buyer! I love my mini, but I would never recommend this deaership to a friend after my family has been treated after paying good money.

Justin Chorbajian was very patient and knowledgeable salesman who helped me get my new car. They have a very comfortable lounge and show room with quality coffee, tea, and water (and usually donuts too). Why not 5 stars? It is expensive; and while I realize that comes with the territory (BMW technology), and wish their mechanic services could be less painful. Fun test drives too :)

So its been almost a week since i purchased the awesome MINI COOPER and i have to say it was customized exactly the way i wanted it. Alexis the sales rep helped me through my whole journey, from the moment i walked in the dealer to the day of delivery of my MINI. Alexis was on top of things always with a smile and answers, very knowledgeable and i have to say she’s a pro sales rep. They really care about their costumers and make you feel like family. i would definitely recommend Bob Smith Mini to my friends and family. Don’t get me started on the deals because they are off the chain! killer deals with out a doubt! So if your thinking of purchasing a MINI COOPER rush over to Bob Smith MINI because they have the deals, many selections, and great costumer service! I’m so glad i got my MINI at Bob Smith MINI!

Bob Smith Mini had a great selection of Minis and I was able to find one that was exactly what I wanted. I would’ve custom ordered a Mini, but I was on a time crunch. I initially came in on a Saturday and test drove the car, then returned yesterday to test drive her again and purchase her. Andre and Alexis, the sales reps, were both really friendly and knowledgeable, as was Eddie, the finance manager. I wish I could’ve gotten more for my trade-​in, a 2007 Mini convertible, but I got a good deal on my car, so I can’t complain too much.
The only thing that I would knock off half a star for is the amount of time it took from start to finish (approximately 3.5 hours), considering that I already had financing and had already picked out the car.
Nevertheless, I was still very pleased with my overall experience and would recommend Andre, Alexis, Eddie, and the rest of the staff at Bob Smith Mini. I’ve gotten my old Mini serviced there as well, and Josh and Sue have been great on the service side.
I’m now the happy owner of «Mini Tank»! :)

Bob Smith Mini and Josh in service continue to exceed my expectations. Additionally, the service techs are WIZARDS! I had a bizarre problem – my car was leaking when it rained! Really?! I couldn’t see the water coming in, which made it more challenging, but the floorboards had standing water and there was a serious amount of «sloshing» in a mysterious location! The tech drove with me and figured it out!
A few days later, I got a call from Josh to say that Mini doesn’t normally replace carpet unless it’s already moldy, but they had convinced them it was important to do so and they did! I had a new BMW loaner car for 3 weeks at no cost – not a typical Mini perk, however Bob Smith extends this courtesy to his Mini dealership as well. WOW. When I picked my car up, my bill was zero. Everything was covered under warranty.
Bob Smith dealerships should teach a class in customer service and exceeding expectations. They do it right. I’d drive a long ways to purchase or service a car here. That’s saying a lot in LA! Thank you, Josh and the entire Bob Smith Mini dealership. You guys rock!

Hands down to Robert (he’s the rockstar version of Doc Brown from Back to the Future and our car salesman who greeted us right away) and Ryan (your Chris Pratt aka Star Lord attitude «cool guy» minus the super hero powers who went above and beyond and helped us). If you want to buy a car, a GOOD car, a SAFE car, a car that makes you feel like you’ve made a good investment, then you’ve picked the right place to purchase your next car. And as Austin Powers would phrase it, «Yeahhhh Baby.»
Test Drive: ⁵⁄₅ stars You want a real test drive? No, no, not just up and down the street and a U turn and turn here and there. I mean let’s take a joy ride and hop on the freeway and make donuts. Oh yeah and how about we throw in an experience race car driver to show you the ropes of what the little mini fella can do, check. I was surprised I was even allowed on the freeway. Now that’s a real test drive.
Staff: ⁵⁄₅ stars Friendly and 100% human, you aren’t just a sale or number. Believe me I know, when we were there my husband had a medical emergency and here they were making sure he was okay, from food to water and even helped him to the car. And let me tell you, I was at another dealership the day before and the salesman wouldn’t even step outside to speak to my husband about our deal (when he couldn’t get out of the car, due to his health) and seemed annoyed to even consult with him over the phone. I am beyond surprised and simply thankful for all their help that they provided.
Dealership: ⁵⁄₅ stars, lots of choices on cars. Very clean, makes you feel like you’ve traveled to London with their red and black motif and little cute cars. Oh and hot chocolate or cappuccino machine anyone? I have to say that is the fanciest little make-​me-​any-​drink-​machine I’ve seen. A+ And yes even the bathrooms are clean lol
Sales Tactic: No crying, no pressure. And they gave me the best deal possible. ⁵⁄₅ stars
Seriously, go to these people. I didn’t think I’d own another car after my scion. I didn’t even think I’d even own a Mini, but now here we are. And thanks to that little Mini I got to see my family safely and feel like a little pea in a pod.

I have been a fan of Mini Coopers since i was a young boy, having watched numerous racing events, especially the 1965 66 Monte Carlo rally events, and how Paddy Hopkirk won 2 or 3 years in a row in a duel gas tanked cooper s… defeating all other major European manufacturers, in a little box.
Fast forward… i found myself years later at Bob Smith Mini, and was amazed at the selection available to me… without missing a beat, Justin helped me get into a magnificent cooper s in the color that i was looking for, gray on black, with a gazillion extras that i will perhaps never use.
i highly recommend this dealership for their ease of access and customer relations, and kudos to Justin… He was very pleasant to do business with.
i cant wait to see whats next… maybe a john cooper works .in the Horizon.
