Let me start with letting everyone know that the AC in this place does not work and the breakfast area was not clean nor was the lady friendly. When we called they said «sorry the AC is broken and we will see what we can do» guess what they did nothing and we spent the night in a sauna. We wished we had moved, but we were tired and exhausted with the drive. Geniuses I the worst employee ever.

They do allow small pets, and have discount rates for AAA members.

Has a mini fridge, microwave, complementary breakfast, pool spa, gym, garage parking + outside parking, and business center. Breakfast gets crowded around 830am, go early.
The check-​in employee had a really soft voice and it was so funny cause my Asian mom could not understand him!

Last year after a ¾ day at Universal, my grandparents drove 30 minutes from there to here, to find this cute little mohotel.
I was wrong. There are a lot of things wrong with this place. This is a very kind of run down mo-​hotel. The rooms were very ugly. And instead of a pull out couch for an extra bed, they had a cot (which was very uncomfortable and I had trouble sleeping that night.)
Now for the morning. I met my grandparents downstairs in the breakfast room. What I expected was there to be a nice kitchen, and very fresh looking food, but that’s not what I saw at all! There was no kitchen PERIOD, just some lots of food under some heat lamps. I have to admit, they had lots of choices and the food was okay, but I still was disappointed.
There is one good thing about this place though. How convenient it was close to these little shops across the street, such as a few restaurants and a yogurt place. If you end up some how staying at this place, make sure you eat at one of these shops.

Do not stay here. They said a complete restoration was just completed. Well, the air conditioning did not work in the first room. The phone and wireless Internet would not work in the second room. Both barely worked in the third room. So the carpet was new… BIG DEAL. A very poor excuse for a Radisson affiliate property. STAY AWAY.

To be clear, dogs are allowed but the first night is $ 35 extra. The wifi in my room wasn’t working. They offered to move me to a different room but it was a downgrade with no offer of a discount. Then at 1:30am, our dog had to go out. When we came back, our key would not work for our door. Something had broken in the card reader. They wanted us to move to that previously offered room until someone came to fix it in the morning. I told them no, I have my purse, phone, and medications in there. We had to wait 30+ minutes for a repair person to come open the door, and then were told to quickly get our stuff and move to the other room. Now around 3:00am. The other bedroom was two queen beds instead of the king in the other room. The television didn’t work and neither did the wifi or any of the electrical outlets in the bathroom or ajoining vanity area. While we got our money refunded from
, they would not refund the $ 35 dog fee, and was rudely explained they had to clean the room. (I would hope they would clean the room anyway, and my dog slept on his bed all night. We made more of a mess than the dog did.) STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. It is not worth the price.

ok. I try to be nice… honest I do! I gave this high marks for staff trying to accommodate a pile of shit motel… but after sooooo many stays, I no longer care that staff is trying… what IS trying (my nerves), is a badly run, broken down, dirty, amenitiy free hotel (sorry kiddo… stale bad cookies in the non decorated lobby does NOT constitute an amenity!!!)
the «motel» has zero to offer… no late night snack offerings in lobby… no food or drink service… plastic cups only in room …hit or miss cleanliness… poorly decorated rooms and front desk staff that although sweet… quite clueless. the last straw for me was smoke detector that chirped throughout the night… I’m convinced it was hotel ghosts taunting and teasing…“Matthew, youre an asshole for paying over a hundred a night for this bullshit!“

Friendly and accommodating check-​in. We came for one night to participate in the Calabasas Classic. Did not expect nice full breakfast, complete with make your own waffles. HUGE room, plenty of space in room and bathroom area. My daughter loved the pool — even though the weather was chilly and someone immediately came out with pool towels! Nice fresh linens with duvet covers, plenty of towels for all of us. So, the carpets and wallpaper in the hallways could use a little attention but overall, this was a great value and a very pleasant stay.

LOCATION & COST ARE GREAT, ROOMS ARE NOT!
If it weren’t for the well-​priced/​value rooms, and really good location off the 101 & Malibu Canyon road… but this is far from luxury! It’s clean, but it is a motel, with horrific need of a remodel, and a little/​cute pool. If all you need is a crashpad, this is okay. Do not stay here for a vacation! I have, however, stayed here 3 or 4 times… and will likely again should the need arise.

Had room book for approx 1 week stay. May4th — May10th. On 3^rd evening when returning to room, a paper was found slid under the door. Letter to inform them the Hotel was closing effective immediately. They need to be out next day. Come to find Hotel went belly up. And lots of people with now lost of rooms.
Relatives want to thank Hilton Gardens for the quick accommodations and kind discount for the unprofessional business Carlson conducted.

Failed at providing even the most basic amenities — like a shower curtain (!) and fresh towels.

Price -$ 110 per night
Local Services — Next to US Hwy 101, shops, grocery store, restaurants, and banks within walking distance.
Hotel– The hotel is adjacent to US Hwy 101 and the hotel is in the shape of a «T,» so most of the rooms are relatively quiet. The top of the «T» faces the highway, even numbered rooms X18 to X44 face the highway.
Rooms — The rooms are clean, staff cleaning was good, and each room has a microwave and mini-​refrigerator.
Amenities — WiFi internet worked well in rooms, breakfast was included and was okay (eggs, ham, potatoes, toast, juice, coffee, etc.), computer and printer for use, pool is small and more for little kids
Parking– Ample parking covered or uncovered.
Staff — Depending on the time of day, you get different aged staff but all were friendly. Weekend staff was buttoned-​up professional, and the week night staff was young but friendly. Cleaning and kitchen staff were friendly but did not speak English.
If I needed to recommend somewhere reasonable, relatively clean, safe, and with easy highway access I would stay here is a good place for the price.

As soon as I stepped in the door, the younger front desk worked complemented me on my shoes. I had Nike Air Stabs on. Not many people in Calabasas would appreciate that. I’d figure snobby rich people but this place seemed down to earth. Here’s the good stuff.
–The price was good, around $ 110 after taxes.
–Room was clean, smelled fresh/​good and the staff was very courteous.
–Walking distance to boutiques, food, and other goodies.
–Free breakfast, free snacks
–I don’t know what the older reviews are talking about but the place didn’t have holes in the walls or looked like the interior was falling apart. It must’ve been renovated. Looked spotless.
–Close to the 101. Literally 2 min drive.
Just stay here.

Not a bad place, paid $ 110. Location worked well for us, good free breakfast, free wifi in room, friendly staff, clean room, small pool, hot tub, monster energy drinks in the vending machines. Good basic lodging that doesn’t nickel and dime you.

My stay here was just so-​so. The hotel is definitely showing its wear and tear. It could use an update. The TV wasn’t working when we first arrived, but they did fix it right away so that was good. It was fine for what I paid, but I probably won’t seek this place out again for a repeat stay. Oh! I almost forgot. The staff there is not very knowledgeable about the local area. So, ANY question I asked about the area was met with a «please don’t hurt me, but I don’t know» kind of look. She was young. But, goodness, please at least know where the on-​ramps are. Thank GOD I have an iPhone and Google Maps. And her co-​worker made some juvenile remark which would have been funny if I was his buddy, but I’m the customer, you big dummy! Hell, I feel so freakin’ old. These young whippersnappers don’t know the basic customer service skills. It’s sad, really.
If you have options, stay somewhere else.

Absolute crap.
Stains all over walls, elevator, hall carpet, paint on furniture fabric, pencil lines where contractors installed fixtures… place is a mess. This is coming from a guy who loves to sleep outdoors in the dirt. Most hostels in bolivia were nicer– really!
The service was shoddy as well, they didnt make up the room until 4:40 while we were getting ready to go to a wedding.
Only plus is how close it is to the freeway, and if you are in the porn business, chatsworth is only 5 – 7 miles. And if thats the case, you may not mind the stains as much as I did.

This hotel was one of my worst stays away from home. From the holes that were poorly patched in the hallways, the soiled carpet to the price of the rooms and the stench in the air.
After making a complaint to the counter person I was never contacted by a manager and sent a survey about my stay. I will never stay their again.
The only good thing is that is is walking distance from walking distance if you want to do some upscale shopping and eat at some nice family restaurants. There is also a small quaint farmers market on Saturday mornings.

Great location within walking distance of upscale shopping and restaurants. The facility is showing it’s age and upkeep is not the best. They’ve added WiFi internet but must have let one of the employees set it up. For all practical purposes the internet is non-​existant. When you do get connected it’s dial up speed at best.
Free breakfast is better than average and there’s 24 hour coffee in the lobby. I’d stay here again but not my first choice.
