The WORST customer service of any «public» utility! There are never any exceptions or kindness given for any human errors.
I’ve dealt with them for over 25 years and never ever have they given an inch… I’m a senior citizen who scheduled a payment online and hit the wrong month to make the payment. While the customer service person saw when I scheduled the payment — well over 30 days ago and could see the error in the date, she wouldn’t even waive the 2% late fee, let along the door tag since the «sent the driver out».
Why bother having customer service people. either they have no ability to make an exceptions when they see a true error or their management just couldn’t care less.

Switched to monthly billing with no notice. When I tried to get the late fee waived the woman on the customer service line was incredibly rude. I guess I’ll just change water companies… oh wait…

One of only a few water districts that give out free compost. I’ve been benefitting from this for years now. You can get as much as you want with no limits on Saturdays. The five stars is purely for this fact.

What a horrible company. They charge you 2% late fee when their payment processing system breaks down and doesn’t record your payment. I miss LADWP. They should disband this crappy company that charges high water rates and steals money from its own customers. Obviously they don’t care about customer service since they have a monopoly and there’s no alternative option to having water use in Agoura Hills.

Las Virgenes Water District shut off my water in the middle of the hottest days of the year, when I was unable to pay triple my water bill due to a water pipe break at my home. They are a monopoly, but have no provision to allow a long-​term customer (over 20 years!) to make incremental payments. Like so many Americans I am struggling with my bills. They insist that I pay the full amount before water is restored, plus a $ 200 deposit, plus a $ 50 reconnect fee. They punish people who can least afford it, but have no provision to allow a payment program. Their only answer was to shut off water service to my home. Their policies are cruel and do not take into consideration that they exist to serve the public.
