RYAN SCHOLER is the best! This review won’t even do justice to how efficient Ryan is, he really wants to help people and is genuine in his dealings with me. When other big lenders won’t approve me, or would approve me for a much lower purchase price, he was there to save the day. I explained my situation to Ryan why I don’t look very good on paper, and he understood and pre approved me for the purchase price that I know I can afford.
We purchased our first home April of 2015, we almost lost hope after our first escrow fell off, but Ryan was there for us and just calmed us down. Also, he made sure I did not overpay for my escrow fees, and asked the escrow company to take out unneccesary charges. He gave me lender credits, and covered my closing costs too! I feel like given my situation (which was not the best during this home buying experience) he made it all possible. I definitely recommend LENDERFI.
Ryan is responsive and calls you back no matter how busy he is.

We just closed our cash out re-​fi loan and I have to admit we are not your average borrowers. We are a Military family living in different geographic locations with multiple investment properties — most lenders wouldn’t touch us with a 10 ft pole, but Amber & the staff at Lenderfi were able to not not only get us a fantastic rate but the cash out we needed to do home improvements on our primary residence. I too, was skeptical about using a non-​traditional lender, but the rates they offered and the no cost loan was too good to pass up. Using Lenderfi for this loan was great because I was always able to reach the right person immediately, or within an hour of my call I received a call back. The entire staff were prompt, courteous and able to answer my questions. Thank you all for helping close this loan for us. I had nightmares as we got closer to closing because it seemed to be going to good to be true! In the end it was exactly what was promised. Much Mahalo

Given that LenderFi isn’t as well-​known as lenders like Quicken or Bank of America, I was initially skeptical if using them would pan out. However, after refinancing with them I can say it worked out great! I got a lower rate with them (few points), versus using one of the larger outfits, by which saving about $ 17,000.
The drawbacks: by default they offer a 30 day lock on rates, which is shorter than other larger outfits, and puts pressure to make sure everything is completed correctly and expeditiously in that small window before the rate changes. Also, at times the reps come off as somewhat inexperienced and still learning the ropes.
However, they were very responsive and always seemed to have my best interest at heart during the process. I closed within about 3 weeks with an unbeatable rate.
I’d recommend them based on the low interest rate opportunities and the well-​meaning (though somewhat green) customer service team.

My refinance went great and I was happy with outcome. They even hurried it along for me because of my vacation schedule. From application to closing it took about 2.5 weeks in total.

I have used Lenderfi for my last two refinances. Their rates were the best I could find on Bankrate and they are incredibly, incredibly fast at closing.
Now I have started recommending them to my family and close friends. Really good service!

Quck, rates were low and the ones they quoted — had a prevous experience with another company and the numbers changed — Lendfi allowed me to lock my rate and it was what we had worked out

Was a little wary at first because we found them on the internet but there rates were great and after talking to the people there (Monica, Victor and Samantha) we felt really comfortable about working with them. Our loan was processed quickly (22 days) and professionally. Like others said this is not for everyone, but if you don’t mind doing everything over your computer (scanning & emailing documents) and you have all your documents in order, you won’t have a problem.

Bad experience. Many disconnects and delays. If you want to manage your own refi, supply your documents multiple times, tell different staff your info over and over, then rush at the last minute, they may be right for you. I did and 90 days later my loan fell through. They apologized and offered to send me wine (which never happened like many other promises they made.) Their follow through, organization, and integrity was lacking throughout the process. Problem was I kept believing that the refi would go through and, since I had put so much time into it, was hopeful it would come together.
Fortunately, I have 770+ credit and money to add equity. Best luck that it did fall through as i Refinanced through my credit union with no problems and a better rate.

They had the best rates and even got me a better rate before we closed! Highly recommend.

I am pretty familiar with lenders and how various types of lenders /​banks work. First the bad: Lenderfi is not for everyone. Some people want the best rates and want their hand held every step of the way (good luck). If this is you, visit your local credit union or community bank and you MAY get this type of service but your rate will likely be a lot higher.
The Great: Rates are some of the best out there. The service was well above expectations — they were honest and upfront about possible hurdles and answered all of my questions. They went the extra mile on what was a more difficult file. I have recently worked with American Interbanc as well — given the two, I would use
hands down. Everyone I worked with seemed knowledgable and were extremely friendly. If you need a refi or purchase and want great rates and service — give these guys a call.

We had a very positive experience with LenderFi. The rate was the lowest available and our refinance was completed in a little over 30 days. As with any real estate loan there is a lot of documentation needed but I found our processor, Cindy, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Rates are good and they were very helpful in getting a pre-​approval done quickly, so we decided to apply for a loan through them. Everything was going fine until our loan processor quit halfway through the escrow period. Enter the loan processor from hell (here’s looking at you Sofya)! She started asking for documents they already had, bank statements for months yet to be completed – basically doing everything she could to give the impression of an incompetent in over her head (even giving her credit for coming in mid-​escrow). So closing day comes around, and with fingers crossed we sign all the papers, breath a sigh of relief, and start celebrating… prematurely as it turned out. Fortunately, our agent gave us a call, as Sofya was asking for more documents VIA EMAIL!!! ON THE DAY OUR LOAN WAS TO FUND, she didn’t think it important enough to make a phone call letting us know there was a problem (which, as it turned out, was due to her misreading one of the inspection reports)!! The close slipped a day but was eventually funded.
In the end, three out of the four folks we worked with at LenderFi were competent and helpful, which leads me to believe they may be better than our experience shows. But the fact that they have someone so unqualified working there casts a large shadow of doubt. We had originally planned to follow up our home purchase with the refinancing of another through LenderFi, but after what we went through the first time around, that plan has been placed on permanent hold.
