I love this store. I use to shop here all the time. I don’t live close to it anymore. When I am out here I do stop in.

This is a store I’ve wandered into a few times and I always feel like I’m going to find something great, and yet always have a hard time. Although there is some stuff that’s in the sphere of what I would wear or think is cute, there often seems to be something off about it. But as with any clothing store, it’s important to keep in mind that it depends so much on my own personal taste that the next shopper might go in there and find herself in fashion heaven. The thing I find most confusing about this place is that I can’t seem to figure out if it’s an upscale boutique with lots of designer jeans and $ 300 dresses, or a trendy juniors store with a $ 60 fake leather jacket and lots of sequined clubbing tops. The truth is, it’s both, so it’s hard to look through the racks because I don’t get a good idea of what exactly they’re going for. However, during my last visit there the employees really moved this review from a three star to a four star experience because they were so friendly and helpful. They weren’t pushy as I browsed but seemed genuinely excited when I ended up finding something I liked(at half off on the sale rack, of course, being the bargain hunter that I am). I would say that 4 out of the 5 girls were just lovely, but there was one girl who didn’t help at all and just kept staring at me in a super creepy way that I didn’t really like. But to the bubbly blond and pretty brunette who helped me, thank you! If you like things like Sevens and Joe’s jeans, funky Free People sweaters and colorful scarves, you may find something there. I too like all of these things but somehow nothing really resonated with me. I do plan to return to see their changing jewelry selection, as there seemed to be some cute things there. I definitely would not recommend the bags, as they all seemed really poorly made of plasticky leather that I could find at Forever 21(though they were also pretty affordable, so I guess it all balanced out). This particular location only had women’s and children’s stuff, but I know the Calabasas location for one also has men’s stuff. It’s a place I’d definitely be open to wandering into if I was wasting some time and in the shopping mood, but overall I have to say it’s just not my thing.
