Tania Baker, DDS – Calabasas Dental Spa

Dr. Baker is the most knowledgable, professional, and gentle dentist that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I needed a crown replaced on my front tooth and she did such an incredible job my tooth looks perfect! And the best part is that my crown was done all just in one single visit. She really took the time to explain everything to me and was very delicate when working on me. She is so gentle that I practically fell asleep during the procedure. Not only is Dr. Baker amazing but her entire staff is so friendly and professional as well. The office itself is also gorgeous, very clean and well kept it definitely has a relaxing spa-​vibe! This is all coming from someone who used to be afraid of going to the dentist but after coming here I feel so comfortable and taken care of that now I can’t wait to come in for my regular teeth cleanings!

I love this office — Dr. Baker and her staff are great. I’ve had some extensive work done by Dr. Baker and it has been virtually pain free. Also she does crowns in one visit so you don’t have to take time out of your schedule for multiple appointments. Plus the office is very nice and comforting. She has a massage chair and will parafin your hands while you wait! The staff are all super nice as well. I definitely recommend Dr. Baker if you are looking for a dentist in the area!

Very pleasant and courteous, everyone there makes me – and each customer — feel appreciated. Behar does extended functions, much more than a hygienist. So glad she could handle my gum problems, take x-​rays, and clarify proper use of my Sonicare toothbrush. And Dr Baker is outstanding at making CEREC crowns while you wait, of which I’ve had several done. THey aren’t the cheapest dentist shop in town, but are good with high level technology applied to dentistry.

Dr. Baker has been my dentist for many years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my teeth (and I’ve been to a lot of dentists). She is extremely knowledgable and truly wants the best for her patients. She and her entire staff have gone above and beyond to help myself and my fiancé with all of our dental needs. She is kind, to the point and honest. The office is very nice, clean and comfortable and you can watch TV while getting a cleaning… super cool. The hygienist is very gentle and thorough and she makes you feel really comfortable. As with every dentist, how much you pay out of pocket depends on your insurance or lack thereof; but, the cost is completely worth it for the service and attention that you receive. Dr. Baker and her team have given me peace of mind and have made all of my dental experiences over the last several years a piece of cake (even when I had to get a shot to get a cavity filled which I’m such a baby about)…so much so that I drive about an hour for my dentist appointments… seriously so worth it.

This was an awesome experience for me cause it had been a long time since my last trip to the dentist. I’m from NC so it’s impossible to fly back home every time I need to see the dentist. So my friend told me about this dentist (Tania Baker) and her dental office and how much she liked it. My friends teeth are straight and white so I was like «why not go see them» I get there and it’s this cool sweet lady named Fay who checked me in. Within 15 I’m in the back getting my teeth x rayed and cleaned. After that they whitened my teeth and I spoke to Tania and she was very nice and she educated me on my teeth. I was very pleased with the results and I’m happy to say I’ve found my new dentist. So if your looking for an amazing dentist I recommend Calabasas Dental :-)

This had to be the BEST dental visit I have ever experienced! I was due for my teeth cleaning and I was pretty much avoiding my previous dentist because I associate pain with that office.
As usual my friend recommended this dental office and she has never disappointed me with her recommendations, and I right away called to make an appointment without any issues I was schedule in at MY earliest convenience.
They are located inside the plaza on the top floor and almost as soon as you walk in you get greeted by Fay and her pearly white smile *jealous* and you pretty much go about completing the new patient form which took 5min.
In the mean time I did walk around to just to see this beautiful office, and they actually have a relaxation room with a massaging chair and a coffee maker and snacks. This is NOT an average dental office! It felt cozy/​homey lots of bright smiles and warm hearted people.
Action time!
Within 5min I get called in and Dr. Baker did An AMAZING thorough job of doing my exam. She is such a knowledgable, professional, sweetheart!!(and by the way, since I checked in on Unilocal I got the exam, bitewing, cleaning, for only $ 99)
Then the dental hygienist Bahar came in and pretty much explained to me what was going to happen and not going to lie from previous experience with a different dental hygienist I was super nervous, but as soon as she started I couldn’t believe it, she actually did my cleaning with my eyes open; meaning, I was nervous and squinting my eyes from pain, BUT NOT in this office. I am in love! Finally I can keep up my cleaning appointments and not have to worry about the pain! After the amazing cleaning I had she very politely explained to me in regards to the area I need to focus on and educated me about it «I promise I will do everything you’ve told me and you’re going to be so proud of me».
And right after my cleaning I did ask about their whitening. I have been very interested in doing whitening for the longest time and they seemed to have the best option for me «smile perfected» and in 5min they got me ready put some vitamin E on my lips and gave me headphone to watch tv and pillow! all I had to do was bite down on a tray filled with the whitening solution as the light did the activation of the material and I was AMAZED by the results!!!
They gave me a goody bag too at the end!!!
All in all today was the best day ever! I got my cleaning and my whitening done and it does make you feel good about yourself, you feel so fresh and clean! And I can honestly say Fay and Bahar are exemplary auxiliary to Dr. Baker and I can’t wait for my next appointment!

I went to Calabasas Dental Spa yesterday for the first time and I must say, I had the best experience ever! I’m not from LA so it’s been hard finding a great dentist where I feel comfortable going to. My friend told me about this Dentist and I figured why not, let me try!
As soon as I walked into the spa I was greeted by the sweetest front desk, Fay! She was very welcoming and just the sweetest ever. After a couple of minutes I was called to go back for my cleaning x-​rays, and teeth whitening. Bahar (I believe that’s how you spell her name) greeted me and took me back. She was awesome! She was very well educated and walked me through what was great and what was going on with my teeth. I then met Tania Baker, the dentist! What a lovely lady she was!
Overall, I highly recommend this Dentist. Very, very sweet and very knowledgeable!
P.s I love my new white teeth :)

Dr. Baker is one of kindest and most knowledgeable doctors out there. I went to get a filling and a whitening, and was overly catered to. She has all of the best and latest equipment as well as the nicest staff. My filling was done perfectly and my teeth have never been whiter, I will definitely go to her for the rest of my life! Just moved here and needed to find a new dentist. A friend recommended this place so I went in for a cleaning. The place was immaculate and the staff was very friendly. It was really comfortable and it was one of the most thorough cleanings I have ever had. She was really gentle. The ex rays they took were very high tech and way more accurate than the old school ones I normally see. She projects a picture on a screen in front of you that’s color coded and explains it to you. She is very good about answering your questions. She also gave me a whitening. My teeth look so amazing. I normally have very sensitive teeth and have always been afraid to whiten. I can’t even use the crest strips, but with this there was no pain at all. I loved the tv in front of you with head phones so you can zone out while they work on you. The whole experience was easy and I would highly recommend this place.

I got my teeth whitened here a few months ago. Dr. Baker cleaned my teeth before the whitening and gave me extra time. I would definitely recommend getting teeth whitened here it cost $ 99 for the in office whitening and a gel pen and tray to do at home. The only downside is that I expected more dramatic results but I will probably go back and get them whitened again since they seemed white immediately after but slowly went back.

Dr baker is amazing ! omg I came in with yellow teeth and left with the most amazing pearly white teeth ever ! I am a pack a day smoker and nothing ever worked ! I have spent thousands on trying to whiten my teeth and none of it worked. Today they did the «sm:)e perfected «whitening treatment. I kid u not my teeth went 3 shades lighter and whiter. Insane ! She is very nice and welcoming. Something most dentists are not. I didn’t feel like I was a business transaction and her front desk manager Fay was also so nice. Coming back next week for a cleaning and to replace two of my crowns. Fay said they have the tools in office to get it done in one day which is a dream since I drove over and hour to get here !

Doctor Baker has been our family dentist for more than 15 years. I have recommended her to many of my friends and acquaintances with confidence and continue to do so. Thanks to her amazing personality and professionalism, a trip to the dentist feels like a trip to the spa. Her office is spotless, she uses the latest in technology and continues to educate herself and her staff. I always try to get to my appointment a bit earlier and enjoy the complimentary massage chair. Any and all work that I ever had was pain free. The Doctor takes the time to explain what needs to be done and how soon it has to be taken care of. My 7 year old who only knows her as a dentist asked me why are people afraid to go to the dentist. I answered– because they have not been introduced to Doctor Baker! She is AMAZING!

TERRIBLE DENTAL SPA THAT WILL OVERCHARGE YOU… My copay with insurance was $ 80… This was a lot with Blue Shield insurance so I decided to cancel my affiliation with them and pursue in a more reasonable priced dentist. When I was about to pay the $ 80 after canceling, they raised my copay to $ 500 claiming there was a lot done me, when I really only had a cleaning… dumb. DO NOT GO HERE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL SPA

First and foremost NOBODY likes going to the dentist but Tania and her staff are truly great and a breath of fresh air… Impeccable state of the art spotless office. Highly trained professional staff that is engaging welcoming and really cares about you and your dental needs. Dr. Baker (Tania) is caring compassionate and an extremely talented dentist who makes you feel comfortable and relaxed as she explains your needs and outlines your options along with developing a treatment plan that meets your desires and budget… I trust and believe Tania and have the utmost respect for her as a dentist and person who truly cares about her patients. i was quoted 2100 to replace a crown!!! i was also told i needed a ton of treatments that I did not need. When I called and said I was not returning because every other place a crown was 900 they told me their crowns were now on sale at 900. The dentist is nice, but they will try to take advantage.

You can always expect good dental service from the staff at Dr. Baker’s Dental Spa. Friendly reception, pain-​free procedures, and warm smiles from the staff. I’ve been comming here for years, and I wouldn’t go to any other dentist.

First and foremost, this place is clean, and has a great staff! Very refreshing to walk into when you know that they’re dealing with your oral hygiene! They offer all sorts of services from standard dental procedures to what I would probably consider luxury services that have never been offered to me at any of the other dentist’s I’ve been to! I’ve personally referred 3 of my friends to come to Dr. Baker, and all 3 of them had wonderful experiences as well. I like that they had the same experience that I had because it shows that they have their act together! After my experiences, and the experiences of my friends, I would definitely recommend her without any hesitation. Thank you for being professional, and trustworthy! My mouth thanks you!

I think it goes without saying that our health is vital. So if I want the best doctors treating me I also want the best dentists treating me. Dr. Baker is a perfectionists. I have had several dentists over 20 years. They have been average and done average work. These are people who are subpar.
Dr. Baker is meticulous and strives to provide quality dentistry.
Yes, she does have the up-​to-​date technology in her office but that’s important! Would you want to be operated on with instruments from the 80’s?
I travel all the way from San Diego County to get my dental work. That should tell you how good she is.

To begin, the receptionist, hygienist, and the dentist were very pleasant.
1^st red flag: The forms they hand you to fill out include a form for you to provide your credit card/​debit card information. Ummm what?
2^nd red flag: This was supposed to be a cleaning. I had x-​rays done (which is usually part of a cleaning) but then NO actual cleaning was done. Instead, I came home with an estimate of $ 2400 worth of stuff I «need» to get done «urgently». I am upset that I wasted an hour of my time NOT getting my teeth clean.
Yes, I do need a few things done, but NEVER in my life have I seen a filling cost $ 484. Yes, the white fillings are usually more expensive, but I have never paid more than $ 200 for a filling. OUTRAGEOUS. And since when is a crown $ 1700 ?
3^rd: Here’s the other thing that blew me away. The doc was actually rude and condescending to her hygienist. First off, I don’t care WHO you are, do not talk to your employees like that and if you want to talk like that to the hygienist, do it behind closed doors. Unprofessional to do it in front of a patient with her mouth wide open.
Seems like all she cares about is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. This is strictly my opinion.
On the positive side, very nice office and yes, she loves technology. But what I love is someone to clean my teeth. I don’t care that you have the latest gadgets in the field of dentistry. I never had a problem with the scraper and the tiny little mirror.
