Good food but the worst focus in a food shop staff I’ve experienced in a very long time… *Phoned in order and was told 15 minutes. *Showed up, paid, and waited. Family ordered sit-in AFTER I paid.(Time stamp 20 mins). *Waited. Waited as other people came and went. *Staff had time to chat with friends, catch up with each other, bs with other customers. *Waited 30 more minutes. *Started complaining when I saw sit-in family getting set-up in the prep area. *Local woman picking up food sympathized with my anger stating ‘it’s a real shame the service here and I’ve mentioned it to the owner but to deaf ear’ *Sit-in family got their food and I lost my mind. *Wife came in from car and lost her mind. *Kids at home calling cells and now shop. *Staff evidently flummoxed by two customers having the same first name *Left with partial order and shop lead shoving money in wife’s hand. Good burgers, soggy fries, too much drama for a Saturday night.

I went here with my daughter the night after superbowl just to grab quick bite to eat. The burgers were AMAZING. The fries, shakes, and onion rings were to die for as well. The owner was so accomidating, friendly and really showed interest in customer service. I will definetly be back. The burger was fresh and the roll was awesome. I highly recommend this place!

Just ordered delivery — long day, wanted something simple. Cheeseburger was outstanding. Cooked to order, medium well was not dry at all, the bun was awesome. The fries were amazing — could tell they were fresh cut. From taking the order over the phone to the delivery, service was phenomenal. I can’t wait to order from Central Burger again. Sooo good and definitely crave-able. I sense a shake in my future!!!

Ordered delivery a couple weeks ago. It was very good. Burgers were cooked perfectly. The only suggestion I would give is fries… Fries are cheap. You should be filling that box with more then what you are giving when you have a customer spending 12 bucks on a burger and fries.

Great place! I love stopping here for poutine!!! I absolutely love it. Been here quite a few times and I’m never disappointed. The atmosphere is really nice. The staff is very friendly, and seem to recognize me(shows how much I’m there). The place is fairly new. And I feel that sometimes they may be a little uncoordinated and not fully put together. But they people there are so friendly and apologetic for anything, you can’t possibly be angry. Never an issue coming here. And they have Pac Man!!! Love love love that.

Central has some of the best burgers around. The fries are sliced onsite. The onion rings are great. And their shakes are hands down the best in town. So if you crave a burger and a shake, this is the place to go.

I waited a while after they opened before giving them a shot, since it wouldn’t be fair to judge them right when they open. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger(which comes with fries, which is a plus when compared to other restaurants lately), a shake and wings to go. I heard there were some issues with timing, but I didn’t need to wait too long for my food to come out. While it was a little too thick for my liking, the shake was pretty damn good. They have some flavors and combinations I haven’t seen anywhere else, and trying the fruity pebble shake really paid off. I’m sure the thickness would dissipate much faster in the warmer weather. The burger wasn’t great. It had a freezer burn/reheated taste to it. Having«burger» in their name, I expected it to be the best part of my meal and boy was I disappointed. I’ve had much tastier burgers elsewhere(including the burgers in my freezer) and that’s just not ok for a restaurant that has burgers as their front and center item. The fries weren’t bad and were probably the best out of everything I ordered. Normally I don’t care for too many fries, but I ate all of them and found myself looking for more. The wings weren’t really satisfying, but then again, this isn’t a wing place. Taking that into consideration, I think the wings were above my expectations, although offering ranch with them instead of(dirty sock tasting) blue cheese is definitely a needed option. Boneless wings would be a nice addition to the menu as well, since everything is already in place to support them. Overall, maybe they had an off night? I would give their burger another try. I wouldn’t order the wings again(mostly because if I want wings, I’ll go to a wing restaurant which are abundant in this area). But when I can go to another restaurant, who’s specialty is NOT burgers, and get a better burger, then there is something wrong. Hopefully they’re able to work these kinks out and get this place running right because they have a great idea, now they just need a great cook.

They have to get the kinks out still. My wife and I had the wimp and a burger. The wimp lived up to its name by being a very thin(the thinnest we’ve ever seen) chicken cutlet on a thick roll. There was more bread than chicken. The cheeseburger was ok, but not even close to five guys. The milkshake was decent, but the gentleman made the shake about ten minutes before the food was ready so by the time I got it home, the shake was melted. My advice to this establishment is to be better than five guys, shake shack, and smash burger. You won’t get there the way it is now, especially with five guys exactly two minutes away. I love promoting local eateries and businesses but I can’t in good faith promote central burger right now. I will go back after the new year to give it one more chance.

Was excited about this place but just waited 55 mins for 2 to-go burgers. Food was good but not worth the wait… Hopefully they can figure it out.

Okay, Friday night. I called ahead for the perfect burger and fries. My lager has been in frig for days, chilled to perfection. Get home and I am all comfy and cozy. Take a bite! :-( They forgot the onions. :-p. Still a good burger, but… Slipped a notch! Be careful out there burger fans!

We got delivery, which showed up fresh and hot. However, my grover burger was ordered mid-rare and showed up mid-well. The meat was good quality, and I liked the bun, but something in the burger was insane salty. For $ 12, I expected a perfect burger, and they did not hit the mark. The buffalo wings only have 1 spice level, meh, so as a chili head that was disappointing– especially because the wings were nice and big and perfectly cooked. The poutine says«a Canadian classic» on the menu, but they use melted cheese, not cheese curds, so this is more accurately described as «disco fries.» The onion rings were perfect and delicious. Overall, it’s nice to have a burger joint in town, but at these prices you can get a better meal of the exact same thing cheaper at Cloverleaf. Good luck guys, you are gonna need it.

The sliders were amazing, perfectly cooked and delicious. There was a small problem with our order: we ordered 7 sliders, but were mistakenly given 7 sliders with cheese. The staff worked very quickly to replace our order at no additional charge to us. Overall we had an excellent experience at Central Burger, and we will definitely be back.

Nice redo. Great rings, tenders are crisp and the burger was nicely cooked. Still pricey for a burger joint but we’ll keep it in our rotation.

I ordered from Central Burger once before within the first week they opened — and it was not good. The medium temperature burger I ordered was more rare than medium and the fries were extremely soggy and lacked any kind of seasoning. Since they were new, I didn’t think it would be fair to rate them on that first experience alone. Tonight, we ordered again — and Wow! They must have read some of the bad reviews here and made changes. Such a huge difference. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The burger I ordered(«The Ave.») was delicious and cooked exactly how I asked. We also ordered a side of onion rings based on some of the positive reviews on that and they were also wonderful — crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth tender inside. I look forward to trying some of the other specialty burgers in the future!

Everyone is extremely friendly but it seems like there is no rhyme or reason or order at the register or at the grill. Front of house manager should step up or they should hire one. Expedite and be efficient where you can. That being said the southerner burger was bangin! Worth the wait. Fries got a little soggy in the take out container. I know this place will be great when they work out the kinks. I’ll be back to give them the second try from a service perspective.

I loved it!!! They do have a few kinks to work out but I have faith it will be GREAT soon. The only«problem» I had was the meat wasn’t seasoned. I don’t like much seasoning… but meat needs a little salt. That’s clearly an easy fix. Bottom line these are great burgers. Onion rings were STELLAR! Must try them Good luck to this local business. We will be coming back!

I wanted to like this place, I really did. Being in Caldwell you don’t really have much food choices when it becomes after 9pm. It took them a good year to finally open, so I tried calling on the night they did. It was 9:30pm and they told me they were closed. When I asked about their hours saying 11pm on the site, the lady just claimed it was wrong. So the next day I went on lunch and got a regular burger and fries. The burger was greasy, kinda like when you go to a lesser known bar and order a bar burger. I asked for bacon and my one small strip was disappointing. The bun got soggy pretty quick so it was kinda like eating a slop mess. Fries didn’t look very appetizing and the fact they cook them with peanut oil is a little odd to me when a lot of the population is allergic to peanuts(which you could actually taste the oil on them) kinda limits your customers, but the fries were just a grease mess as well. My stomach is probably going to hate me later. I think for what you get its a bit overpriced. I understand they are a new establishment, so I hope they turn the food around.

So. I’ve waited for so long. Today it opened. Now to judge on the first day isn’t fair. But the onion rings. They were great. My kids got sliders and a big awesome hot dog. My burger«The Grover». Yum My wife got a veggie burger. She liked. She is picky when it comes to veggie burgers. Fries could be crispier. Buns were great. I’ll be back. I’ll be back.
