My gym is the great outdoors. Grover Cleveland has everything I need — parallel bars, park benches and a path. However,(and this is not the park’s fault) I am seeing more and more people walking pit bulls lately. So, if you’re walking your dog(especially a little one), please be mindful.

One of the best parks in the area. Features a nice duck pond(fishing allowed), walking/running paths with mile markers, a large playground, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, and indoor bathrooms(closed overnight). Parking is good, with spots all along the road and a small lot at the far end of the pond. I’ve walked in this park at night and it seems very safe. It’s very close to the Essex Fells police station and Caldwell police are frequently seen patrolling.
