The owner of Envision Gems is a Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America. He is also a certified jewelry appraiser with the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.

Business Owner

The owner of Envision Gems has a vast amount of experience in the jewelry industry. Prior to founding Envision Gems in Calhoun, GA, Chris held positions as a jewelry buyer for a jewelry manufacturing company, as a jewelry repair technician, in jewelry store management and as a jewelry appraiser. He studied at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, CA and there earned the highly coveted Graduate Gemologist degree. He continues his association with GIA by participating in continuing education and has served as a president of the Georgia GIA Alumni Association and the founder and past president of the Utah GIA Alumni Association. Chris has earned the distinction of Registered Supplier with the American Gem Society and has taken and passed the AGS test for the Certified Gemologist Appraiser. He loves to share his knowledge and passion for gems and jewelry with his customers and the community. He teaches classes on gemology at schools and community groups.
