I was in Calhoun for work and had a coupon, otherwise I would not have found this place. The restaurant is located on a main road but the signage is small and parking is in the back. Entering through the side door, I was greeted by an old musty odor. — I almost left right then but decided to stay when I was warmly greeted. The place is minimally decorated and appeared clean. Several handwritten signs adorn the sneeze guard which distracted me in ordering — subs, salads, chips ate on the menu. Staff were friendly and eager to help but they don’t wear uniforms or seem to have any business standards for appearance — think: just returning from a concert clothes. My coupon was accepted and I enjoyed both my Italian(lunch) and Club(dinner) subs. The bread was soft and the meat piled high. Decent portion sizes for the price($ 5 for a 6″) and the taste rivaled other sub shops.
