My phone was stolen recently and I ordered a new one online. I went to the att store to get everything set up again. When I asked for help for this process, I was told by one of the workers that it was my responsibility to contact customer care to have my new phone activated. The only problem was that I didn’t have access to a working phone… Because it was stolen. I asked the worker if I could use the phone there. He told me that the phone was for customers. I couldn’t believe it. The bill I get every month states that I am a customer. I travel for work and am thousands of miles from anyone I know. I had to go to a hotel down the street and ask the front desk to use their phone to call Customer Care. My interaction with AT&T is usually pleasant but this location left a sour taste in my mouth. Shame on you
