Meet the Manager

Christy A.

Manager

Christy was born and raised in Southern California, and spent many years traveling through Europe and living in Southeast Asia. After returning from living in Thailand, her brother gave her a mixed case of wines from around the world. She was enthralled with the diversity of vintages, and soon began working near home in the Santa Barbara wine industry, before she made the move to Napa Valley. She worked in Yountville at a tasting room and through self-​education, she studied and passed the first level Court of Master Sommelier certification. She made the move to Calistoga where she accepted a position in management for a small start-​up and family-​owned winery. Wanting to experience wine production at a vineyard rather than read about it in books, she applied for a harvest internship at Round Pond Estate in 2010, and shortly thereafter managed their hospitality department. A few years later, she teamed up with former co-​workers and all of us at Davis Estates, and the rest is history!
