History

Established in 2002.

I’ve been working with trees ever since I was in high school at age 16 working at a local nursery. Working in the nursery taught me about nomenclature and basic biology of trees. I studied tree biology and plant sciences in college. I found my passion was working with trees in 1995 and was able to focus my knowledge toward caring and preserving trees. I specialize in all aspects of tree care including tree pruning, removals, planting, and consultation.

Business Owner

I started working with trees and shrubs when I was sixteen. I worked at a retail nursery that also designed and installed landscapes. Here I began to learn nomenclature, identifying pests and diseases and landscape design. I studied plant science and biology in college. I eventually started working in landscape, and in 1995 began in the field of arborculture. I quickly realized that this was the profession for me! The more I learned about trees, the more my passion increased for my new trade. I began my own business in 2002. Eighteen years from when I began in arborculture, my passion for trees has only increased. I believe a large part of my job is educating people on the care of trees and how to coexist with them.
