My SUV flipped over so there were a few dents and a shattered front windshield. Mike from 1^st Choice was extremely flexible with my work schedule and was able to accommodate the changing times. He was able to quickly change out the windshield AND pull out some dents AND fix my broken door, ALL in under an hour AND didn’t even charge me extra. Not only did he save me a few hundred extra dollars, he gave me peace of mind.

If I could give 1^st Choice Auto Glass a 10 star review I would.
I called several people in the area that replace windows and I chose to go with Mike. He seemed nice, honest, and very knowledgeable on the phone.
I wasn’t able to schedule something when I initially called him, but when I finally was I called him late on a Friday and he was able to come out the very next day.
He arrived when he said he would, and was super fast (only about 30 minutes)! Great customer service. He made having a window replaced (something I wasn’t looking forward to) an overall pleasant experience. Thanks for the new window, Mike!

Driving down the Freeway and a rock flew up and smacked my windshield. I remembered this commercial is saw, about how a certain company could fix it, so I gave them a call & it seemed like all they wanted to do is sell me a new windshield. After I politely asked them to leave, I did some research & came across 1^st Choice auto glass. After talking to Mike (it was night and day) he said he’ll come out the next day and look at it. When he arrived the next day, with confidence he said, «I can fix that!» It came out beautiful, can’t even tell! I’m one satisfied customer! I recommend using 1^st Choice if you need help with any windshield problem!!!

Repeat customer — incredible service and repair… Several years ago, when my windshield cracked on the freeway (errant golf course ball hit my windshield), 1^st Choice Auto glass replaced my windshield for about half the price of the other quotes I had obtained. He was very friendly and even helped me recoup the low cost to replace it when I made a claim. I knew exactly who to call when the driver’s side window on my other car broke this week. Again, the price was beyond reasonable and the service was top notch. Thanks again for putting a major inconvenience behind me and going above and beyond by being as nice as can be on top of 2 great deals.

Had two windshields installed by Mike. 30 days later a crack appeared running vertical from rear view mirror mount. Called Mike and he came out and told me it was from an impact and he would not warranty the glass. Went to two different glass installers and both of them said it was a defect in the mirror mount. Mike implied that I had broken my windshield and was trying to get over on him. He insults you and does poor work. Would never use him again.

We had our car broken into at our residence, and had no clue who to call. These guys had great reviews, and after calling around to 3 other places for estimates, they also had the lowest price. The price I was quoted included mobile service, meaning they would come right to me! I made my appointment with Mike, who was also the guy who showed up to do the work. In every instance he was straight forward, kind, and open about the price break down and work to be done. Excellent customer service from start to finish, and he was done in less than 15 minutes! They are also a local, family owned business, another plus. Thank you for being that little ray of happiness around what started as a bad situation. Definitely recommend.

My door panel was not taken off and to make matters worse what I didn’t mention in my first review is you guys did damage to the outside plastic molding to my truck. Your guy who came to do the window installation never even apologized for the mistake. Terrible customer service and terrible on how to make it up. Calling me back an hour later to say you couldn’t get the glass for my door for another few days because neither of your distributors had the glass is unexcussable. And yes I didn’t know which cab it was… i told the other company the same thing… but that it was the larger glass… they brought both out jus to make sure… that is what good customer service is about… LEARN FROM IT AND STOP MAKING EXCUSES FOR INCOMPETENCE!!! And maybe you will be a better company.
What is clear to me is the continous excuses and lies you keep adding to my posts. Your tech was not there «30−45» minutes like you claim. And he did not clean up «all the glass»… i cleaned up alot of it myself… while he was there and after he left. The door panel was not removed and there is not the «same exact damage» on the passenger side. And how would you know… you didn’t even see my other side. You also lied saying most of my reviews have been negative… i have done 12 reviews including yours and 6 have been positive and 6 have been negative. So continue to make excuses and lie about what really happened to satisfy potential new customers if want. Hopefully Unilocal customers looking for a new glass person will take my advice and stay away.
Once again telling lies and making excuses. I did not complain when I booked my appointment that you hadn’t gotten back to me on Sunday or Monday. I had made a comment about how it was Tuesday mid day and you had not returned my call. And even then you gave me a poor excuse of how there was no message. And no Mike there isn’t the same damage on both sides. My drivers side has a tear in it from your poor handy work. And here is another lie in just your responses… you say in one response about how it was a tech who did the work and in your latest response you say it was you. Which was it mike??? I’m a little confused now! Oh and by the way… great way to do business and handle a problem with a dissatisfied customer… by arguing with him in posts on Unilocal!Keep up the great family business of customer service!!! I needed a new windshield and found Mike through a Google search. When you call leave a message if he doesn’t answer. He will call back quickly. We struck a deal in the price and set a date, but the windshield didn’t arrive, so we set another date, and the rain came, so we set another date, and then he replaced the windshield. With each delay I was contacted immediately (and the delay was only a few days anyway). Mike was very professional, prompt, and performed quality work. I recommend them if you need windshield work.

Don’t worry at all about gonig with this company for your windshield needs. I read the Unilocal reviews and called and Mike answered and was very courteous and I asked for a same day appointment to have them come to my home and replace our cracked windshield. He came out at the time promised (between 12 – 2 and showed up around 1:30) and had it installed in less than 20 minutes!!! The price was $ 238 for a 2011 Toyota Rav4 windshield replacement. That was about $ 40 more than another company I found but hey, this one got 5 stars on Unilocal,came out to my home and did the job no problem. I am highly satisfied.

As a cautious Unilocaler, I have tendency to check the worst review first. I honestly can’t comprehend or imagine how this company can receive 1 start.
All all of the 5 star reviews are absolutely true. Talk about being courteous, nice, prompt, informative, friendly, great price… you get the idea. My experience with this company was top notch. God forbid I have issues with my windshield again but if I do, I won’t even hesitate, I would call Mike and his team at 1^st choice auto glass in a heartbeat.

I had small crack which splintered because of the severe weather changes. I called around (5 shops) and felt that 1^st Choice Auto was my best bet. This was the best service! Mike was honest and prompt. He replaced my windshield in record time and explained the issues from a previous replacement. I would highly recommend him to everyone! Thanks again Mike!

I live in Camarillo and I needed to find a good auto glass repair place. 1^st Choice Auto Glass was recommended to me by my awesome mechanic, Jerry Garcia, he said they’re the best glass repair in the area and he highly recommends them!
My boyfriend had a huge crack the whole width of his front windshield, so I called Mike (who is so very friendly) the day after Christmas and asked if he would be available to come out and fix the windshield the very next day. He said of course, and gave me a couple options of times he would be available. I chose the 1 – 3 time slot.
The next day, he arrived at my house around 2. He examined the windshield and told me it would take around 30 – 45 minutes to fix and what needed to be done. Exactly 30 minutes later, he was done with the replacement and he gave me care instructions to make sure the glue dried properly. It looked so great! He did an absolutely wonderful job and I couldn’t be more happy about how it turned out! I would definitely recommend 1^st Choice Auto Glass to anyone who need a good quality glass repair or replacement for their car! Thanks Mike!

Mike did a great job with my windshield repair. He was able to come out same day, kept to his timelines, and gave me a clear and honest evaluation of the work & potential outcomes.
This crack was at the very border of what can of can not be repaired; after his work, it is almost invisible and more importantly it is structurally sound. Highly recommended, thanks again. We both wished we took a before and after photo, the change was very dramatic.

After spending half a day calling every dealer and glass replacement company in a 50 miles radius I finally came across 1^st Choice Auto Glass (thanks to Unilocal!) they beat every other price by $ 50-​$ 200. Scheduled to have my window replaced the next day, he showed up at work and was finished in 20 – 30 minutes.

Great company! I did some comparison shopping and received quotes from at least 5 different companies and 1^st Choice had the best price. They have excellent customer service, great prices, fast and very friendly. They came to my work which was very convenient. I hope I don’t have to use them again (lol) but I will recommend them and will use them if I need to. ;)
