We rented a Bocat S70 from them and we only used it for 30 mins, took a 30minute break and then the equipment would not turn on again and the battery meter said it has not more battery power left. We ended up buying a battery charger and had to charge the thing for several hours before we can use it. When I called the Camarillo office, the guy who answered me insisted that I was mistaken and that it could not have been the battery and implied that we did not know how to use it —-that we didn’t turn it off thats why the battery died. He also insisted that he would know how much hours we used it because there is a meter(which we are aware of). When asked how much was on the meter when they dropped it off, he said there was 931 hours. When we checked the Bobcat, the meter read 4440 hours. I called again to let him know this and even took a picture of it but he again insisted that we were reading the wrong meter. This guy thinks we’re stupid. Definitely not renting from them again.

I needed a rototiller to turn up the ground in my chicken coop(the bonus of having chickens is free organic fertilizer for the victory garden) I called around and U Rent had the best deal and had a small tiller available that would fit in the back of my SUV. I couldn’t even get Home Depot’s rental dept to answer the phone. the team at U rent was great, They have different options; 2 hour min $ 40 4 hour min $ 50 or all day for $ 75 I rented the tiller for 4 hours and was done in 2 so when I returned they reversed it and gave me the 2 hour rate I save $ 10.00… NICE! The tiller was pretty old but worked great, started right up and was well serviced. they helped me load and unload the beast into the back of the Volvo XC90. Great to know all the goodies you can rent from these guys. they also mix cement.
