Computer Whiz On Call

Paul came and helped our family immensely. We have way too many things running on our wireless network, and had routers set up improperly — causing everything to function poorly, or not at all.
He helped us clean up the printer, re-​set up the wireless routers, and advised us on the best way to maximize use of the various things we use through out the house (laptops, tablets, Roku, wireless printer, etc).
Very thorough and didn’t leave until he knew everything was working well. And he was available in a great time-​frame to help us get our home back online sooner than later. Wonderful job — will definitely be calling him again if we have any future problems!

My HP was running extremely slow and I had many issues accessing certain programs, etc. After months of this and a high quote from Best Buy, I just decided to just buy a MAC. I called Paul to transfer my files and photos and also maybe teach me a little about my new MacBook Air. He totally surpassed my expectations. He ended up not only helping me transfer and organize my files but removed a virus (& other stuff I didn’t quite understand), getting my HP back and running just like new. He also recommended free workshops to learn how to use my new computer. Such an honest and knowledgeable guy, which I’m especially grateful for because I know nothing about computers.

Paul has been my go to computer service/​repair person for almost 10 years. He is extremely knowledgeable about my home PC, and always up-​to-​date on the latest technology. He even helped me purchase a laptop for me. He is courteous, prompt and professional. I highly recommend him.

I’ve know Paul for a few years and I can say that he is a genuine and honest nice guy. He knows technology inside out. He offers great value and I could not be happier with his work… highly recommend him, simply the best.

If giving no starts for Computer Whiz on Call was an option then I would have so one star is going to have to work. I called on a Friday morning looking to restore my pictures off of my mac, I deleted them and needed them back desperately. The man on the phone said he could help me and that it was going to cost around $ 300 and to bring the MAC on Monday so he could work on it. I called on Monday and he explains to me he thought I was going to call earlier. I explained to him that I work all day during the weekdays and that I told him this on Friday. He then tells me he can’t look at the laptop until next week because he thought I was going to call earlier in the day. Really? YOU told me to call on Monday and I told you on Friday that it would be later in the day because I work. He then tells me he can’t work on it because hes too busy and that I need to find someone else.
I would never recommend this company to anyone, especially with the amount of money he asks for. You would think with those prices his customer service skills would be precise, obviously not.

I would be more than happy to pay WHATEVER cost in order for my pictures to be recovered but after he started talking about any updates with my computer that needed to be done and that if he didn’t have to fix anything on the computer then it wouldn’t be very costly. However, ALL I wanted was my pictures, I called 4 times because he kept telling me I could bring my laptop in and would I called it was always a different day. PLEASE GO TO RESCUTECH! THEY SAVED MY PICTURES AND DID NOT TRY TO SCAM ME

Our family considers ourselves very lucky. Several years ago through a routine internet search we discovered COMPUTER WHIZ ON CALL. Since that day all our computer/​printer/​wi fi issues have become a thing of the past. There hasn’t been a problem within our home that PAUL of Computer Whiz hasn’t been able to troubleshoot with satisfactory results. We can always rely on him to resolve myriad technical issues. You won’t have to pack up your malfunctioning device to go to the «hospital» for repair. Complete satisfaction will be rendered at your homesite. Along with the highest degree of technical knowledge you can also expect, courtesy, punctuality and a willingness to explain in detail the problem that required the need for service. We remain very happy campers and now think of Paul as a family member.

Paul was awesome! He came to our house the same day that I called him and looked at the computer. He had it back to us in a couple of days. Very pleasant. He answers his phone right away and calls to find out what your availability is. Will call him again if we have more issues!

Paul went out of his way Christmas Eve to repair my lap top. I called early in the morning, he returned my call so promptly and was at the doorstep as he promised. He worked diligently on the lap top to get it back to me in 100% working condition before Christmas! Simply the best. Paul is a customer maniac and also a True COMPUTER WHIZ. Thank you!

The hard drive on my laptop went bad and unfortunately that is where all of my prior income tax records were, and it was time to do taxes again. I checked here on Unilocal for laptop repair, and ended up calling Paul. We made an appointment where the problem was analyzed. I left the computer with Paul and picked it up later in the week, and it was running better than ever and he had saved my income tax returns data. The whole process was quick and Paul was easy to get a hold of, and kept me informed of the repair progress as things went along. A good experience.

Paul put my mind at ease when my computer was taken over by an outside source and I could no longer access the internet. His service was fast, reliable and his prices are reasonable. He was able to retrieve my data and transfer it to my new computer. He was patient explaining everything and didn’t charge me for the extra time he spent with me. Paul did a great job diagnosing my computer problem, recovering data from my damaged hard drive and setting up my new computer. He answers his phone, returns emails quickly, is available on short notice, and shows up on time. He knows what he’s doing and provides great customer service. I would definitely recommend him for home and business computer issues.

I recently got help from Paul after unsuccessfully trying to fix the problem myself. He was friendly, very helpful, and got the job done perfectly. I’ve known Paul for a while, but I did not have a need for his outstanding services and capabilities until recently. I was experiencing a very thorny problem with Outlook 2007, and Paul corrected everything — along with coming to my office to run some diagnostics, and dropping off my laptop following the repair. In between, Paul was extremely responsive, communicative, and professional, and always took the time to fully explain what he was working on and why that needed to be done.
