Douglas R Dill, DDS

My family has been going to Dills office for years and really liked him and Dr Patterson. Both where trust worthy and kind. Now that Dr Dill has retired and Dr Patterson has left I was a little worried to go in for my 6 mo cleaning and rightly so. I have very healthy gums but was told immediately that I needed a deep scaling that would cost me $ 420.00. Stupidly paid for it and got a quickie cleaning and then checked my insurance later an found out that I was over charge $ 100 on top of it. Unbelievable and on the first appointment. Well that was quite the disappointment. We now have a new dentist.

Hard to put into words how bad my experience at this office was. Im generally a patient person but actually walked out of this office during an appointment to have teeth cleaned. Dr Dill apparently does not like to clean teeth and since my work schedule required him to do my cleaning instead of Dr Patterson (decent dentist works out of same office and did the first half of my cleaning) he responded by repeatedly insulting me and my husband during the set up. I have had a lot of dental work done over the years and am comfortable with the numbing needle however when Dr Dill insisted on injecting me before my mouth had time to get numbed with the gel and refused to wait 2 minutes because his time was too valuable I had to stop the whole thing and walked out. If sharing my experience can save one person from his odd verbal assaults it will be worth my time. There are plenty of other dentists out there that will appreciate your business and treat you with respect. The receptionist, Mary, is a sweetheart however and I wish her the best.

Dill’s office has been my go to dentist since I moved to Camarillo. HOWEVER, since my last procedure in Oct 2014 When they had gotten Dr. Chillian (WORST DENTISTS EVER) I was supposed to get a crown. They had never taken my impression, I attempted to call at least 20 times throughout then and now, but only receive voicemail and will not get a call back. It took them 4 months to give me a call back. Absolutely the WORST DENTISTS OFFICE IN CAMARILLO. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
POOR RECEPTIONIST. POOR DENTISTS. POOR EVERYTHING.

Dr. Dill gave me a beautiful smile. 4 veneers and a crown and now I can show my teethe in pictures! A caring and humble man. I loved the staff as well. Mary was extremely courteous and friendly in taking me through the process of making this happen. Dr. Dill will get a very strong recommendation to all my friends and family.

Great dentist with front office. No frills, takes care of you and yours.
Mary’s the best with helping you out as well. They’ll get you in with and help you out.

Dr. Dill’s office in Camarillo is one of the best. Not only is he a wonderful dentist who takes the time to explain things and listen to your concerns, his office assistant, Mary, is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, too. I had several unusual problems and they both went way beyond the call of duty in helping me resolve my dental problems. I always feel Dr. Dill has MY best interests in mind instead of thinking about how to make more money. They both make me feel a level of trust I usually don’t have with dental offices.
