We do the repairs others shops won’t do… or can’t do! I have 2 master techs onsite… each with over 20 years of experience. We do FULL service repairs and safety checks. We are also a STAR certified smog check and repair station!

Secondly, we are flexible with our pricing. We understand that times are tough and the economy puts a strain on everyone in the community. Thus, we offer special discounts on our service card so customers can get great service at ‘fair prices’…without compromise.

History

Established in 2007.

Took over ownership of the shop in early 2007. We have doing pretty good ever since. We were one of the first STAR smog check and repair stations in the County.

I’ve been in the automotive business since 1988. I have a Master’s Degree in Organizational management. I worked as a Store Manager for Goodyear Tire & service for 13 years.

I am an owner onsite and work hard and diligently to take good care of my customers. Similarly, I am very active in the community and local Chamber of Commerce.

Never had such a bad experience. This is the kind of place that makes people afraid to fat work done on their car. Rude, total scam artist, if I had time to stand outside and warn people people before they walked in, I would. Wish I’d listened to the people who tried to steer me away.

Today was the second time I have had to go get some repairs done at Purrfect Auto Service. From these two experiences I think I can make a judgment and recommend this place to anyone. They were super efficient and were very friendly. Last time they even loaned me a car while mine was being worked on. Give this place a try!

The guys at Purrfect Auto Service were amazing, they offered me a «loaner» or a ride to where I needed to be. My car was in and out with a super quick turn around. They kept me informed every step of the way and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing fast and excellent service. They were personable, reliable and I was pleased with the work they did.

I am from Ojai, and my old Lexxus needed an emergency repair. Luckily, Purfect Auto Service is just right at the corner from my work, Fantastic Sam’s. Paul, the owner is super excellent. He is very customer service oriented person, loaned me his service car while my car was under their care. I highly recommend this place, my car is now running great. Thanks to Purfect’s magical hands, now I know where to go when I need help again.

I have been a faithful customer of Purrfect Auto for over 10 years! Paul and his crew are friendly, professional and thorough and there’s no way I would go anywhere else. I have recommended Purrfect Auto to all of my friends and coworkers over the years and none have ever been any less than thrilled with Paul’s work!
Unlike those other garages that take my car behind closed doors, only to return with a printout of what they «claim» is wrong with my car, I like the fact that I can see my car being worked on at Purrfect Auto. Paul and his staff will actually show you the parts that need to be fixed so you know 100% that he job is being done correctly!
And, if you can’t wait, Paul’s crew will give you a ride or give you one of their loaner cars, if he job is going to take some time!

I just got my wife’s car smog checked here this morning and had a fantastic experience. My wait time was long enough for me to grab a cup of coffee and check my emails (about 25 minutes) and I was headed home for less than $ 42. Paul waited on me and was friendly and professional. This was the first time I was there but I won’t hesitate to go back for other service needs.

Rude phone manners. I called in asking for Brake Service prices for my BMW. If they are going to be like that on the phone, definitely not coming in. My business is better off somewhere else, anyways.

Paul is kind and professional. His team seemed helpful too and happy to give me a ride or lone a car while they fix mine. I have taken my van there twice now. Once for a belt replacement and then to replace my cracked radiator and replace ac filter. They do a good job! Thanks, guys!

First time customer and was very pleased with everything! Came in to get an oil change because I had a stripped drain plug and the place was very busy. However Paul, the owner, let me know that it would be about an hour and a half and sure enough, exactly an hour and a half later it was ready with a new drain plug and everything! Thought I’d be paying a lot, but the prices were more than fair!
I will definitely be taking my business here for now on.

Don’t really know where Paul is from, but his demeanor is downright rude and condescending. Yea sure his prices are decent but I prefer to pay the extra bucks for proper service and some politeness. I refuse to give my money to this guy. There’s plenty of good businesses in Camarillo to tolerate his crap.

I’ve found my new mechanic! Purrfect did the timing belt replacement on my Honda Pilot, for hundreds less than the dealer wanted to charge. Paul took great care of me and even gave me a loaner car for the day. I will be back for sure.

$ 41 for a smog check and they are a star location. That is the best price I found. It took him about an hour to check my car, but I just walked over to coffee bean and read a book. Good for smog checks, not sure about auto services.

I have had two experiences here, and found that both times the guy that works on Saturday is a real D-​bag. The first time, I was attempting to sell a car and it happened to be a Saturday. Due to the buyer being military, we needed the sale that day so he could move back home. I went to purrfect to get the car smogged and the smog tech was not in. When I asked if there was another location nearby, D-​bags reply is «I’m not going to give the names of any competitors.» — get real man, your tech was out and you lost the sale.
Scenario two — I now have my new sports car, and its too low to get a jack under. I need to run a line from the back to the front which requires I get under the car. I drive by on a Saturday and same guy is working with one car in the garage. I ask him how much he would charge me for 5 minutes on the lift. His reply «$ 100 for rack time.» I laughed, thinking that $ 20 for five minutes on a lift would be max. I then it the car to big brand tire and tried to offer them cash for the few minutes on the lift. Their reply — don’t worry about it, you can use it and we won’t charge you. Just keep us on mind if you ever need tires”. That’s being realistic and showing real service — even if I wasn’t a customer yet. Purrfect really sucks. Get over yourself D-​bag

Always come here for an oil change. comes to $ 22 and theres no bull involved where they give you a massive list of crap they want to try to charge you for like sooo many other places. I mean if you request it they will do the whole search, but otherwise they will give you just an oil change… exactly what you came in for.
Being a blonde girl I almost expect automotive places to try to swindle me somehow, but unlike most others, I get the feeling they are pretty honest mechanics here. They explain car details to me without talking down to me, charge fair prices, and are pretty quick with their work. I have not had any major work done on my car here yet, but most likely I will go to them for it (and then repost :)

Horrible customer service. The owner (?) was rude and unprofessional. He quoted me on a part without even looking at my car… Told me I needed it, again without looking at my car. Hmmm. When I was there his garage was empty– I wonder why. I went to a dealer, and asked for the price of the part he told me I needed, and it was cheaper there. That is all I have to say about that. This guy is a JOKE.

Paul and his team are a triple threat of a service shop! Competitive pricing, top notch customer service and most importantly, integrity. My family (and extended family as well) have been taking our cars there for two years. We always receive speedy service and honest quotes. We have never had a bad experience with these guys and it feels good to have found «our car guy.»
As long as we’re in Camarillo, all of our cars are going to Paul.

I did not have a good experience with these people. I would issue them NO star if it was possible. I limped my car there for a new cv shaft to be installed because they were around the corner. I am VERY mechanically inclined when it comes to cars and didn’t appreciate being treated like a fool. Without my knowledge they put in a junkyard spindle which surprised me when the bill came. I personally replaced that very spindle and wheel bearing less than a year prior to this fiasco. They reportedly changed the wheel bearing (LIE) and charged me dealership rates for parts that came off of a high mileage vehicle. My car ended up spending the next four days in their unsecured Kmart parking lot with the keys dangling in the ignition. They are not to be trusted, that’s just my experience.

I brought my VW here for service right after my warranty expired. I was nervous because it was my 1st time going to a non-​VW dealership mechanic. My steering wheel was shimmying when I hit the brakes so I figured I needed brake work and cringed at the thought of what the final bill would be.
Paul (or Paulie) helped me. He’s the owner and he assured me they’d take good care of my car. (Don’t they all say that though…) Well, I was more than pleasantly surprised when I got the final bill and when I test drove my car. They resurfaced my brakes, gave me new pads and did an oil change and my jaw dropped (for good reasons) when I got the bill. I was bracing for something near $ 300-​$ 400 but my bill was far below that.
It’s now several months later and the brakes are still working great. I’m definitely going back here for all my servicings. I’m so happy to have found a trustworthy, reliable auto shop so close to home.
