History
Established in 1965.
We have been helping clients throughout Massachusetts for over 50 years. We have helped thousands of clients with their personal injury cases, criminal defense matters and any other legal issues they have encountered. The firm is headed up by partners Steven Altman and David Altman, along with some of the Commonwealth’s most outstanding civil and defense litigators. Attorney’s such as Richard Floor, Ian Keefe, Samuel Goldberg, Steven Goldwyn, Anthony O’Connor, Bart Simonian, and other rising attorneys. Additionally, Cambridge Vice Mayor and City Counselor Dennis Benzan is a part of our talented staff. Our office located in the historic Cambridgeport Bank Building in Central Square. Inside the office our clients are often drawn to the original ornate detail of the old bank along with the magnificent vaults that are breathtaking. Business Owner
Steven Altman is the Managing Partner at Altman & Altman LLP. Steven is a 1989 graduate of Trinity College (Hartford CT) where he recieved his bachelor of Science in Economics. Upon graduation of Trinity Attorney Altman enrolled at Suffolk University Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1992. Steven has handled numerous complex civil litigation matters including wrongful death claims, defective product claims, workers compensation cases, and premises liability cases.
Additionally, Steven manages the firms criminal defense practice and works closely on many of the firms active criminal cases.
Steven is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association, American Association of Justice. He’s admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court District of Massachusetts.
