Unimpressive. We’ve ordered here a few times when their competitor across the street is closed. Each time we think that it’s going to be fine. But every time we’re disappointed. From pizza to buffalo chicken, the food is uninspiring. Our order was on time, complete and accurate. With an abundance of pizza shops, it’s surprising this place remains competitive.

I must have caught them on a bad day for deliveries. I waited over an hour before I called to check the status on my order. Was rushed off the phone and still 20 minutes later my food arrived. The garlic bread is basically just a toasted sub roll with a sprinkle of cheese — it wasn’t worth it at all. I also ordered a chicken finger dinner, which came with my choice of fries and a side salad. It was exactly what I expected, nothing more. I hear that the pizza is decent here, but have not had the chance to try it out. I may try one more time before I give up.

This place has great quality pizza and excellent prices. Staff are friendly and food is consistently well-prepared and on-time. The interior is pretty bare-bones, so I prefer to get my orders to go. The calzones are pretty tasty, too. Best pizza I’ve found in Boston/Cambridge yet. Highly recommended.

First time I tried a slice from here here, it was the worst pizza I ever had. In part, because I mistaken their tin shaker to contain garlic powder instead of salt. However, I tried this place once more and while the pizza slice was better than before it was nothing impressive. I decided to order the chicken parm and a large order of mozzarella sticks. The chicken parm was some of the most mushy ziti I’ve ever had. It was all wet, noodly, and broke apart in barely touching it. The bread they served wasn’t even toasted, just plain white bread that tasted like a very bland bread roll and was a bit dry. The chicken in the chicken parm itself was tasty though. The cheese and sauce added were just average. The mozzarella sticks were tasty which is why I bumped up this review by a star but found the marinara sauce a little too sweet.

We had a great Hawaiian pizza from here. Totally legit for a takeout pizza option. Plus, they were really sweet and put our order in even though the store was about to close.

I really like the pizza here, and that is why I head to Cambridge Pizzeria. I did grab a chicken caesar wrap for lunch once, and is was just okay. I live close, so I don’t have any experience with the delivery. Whenever I head to the shop, I get a hot delicious pizza that is ready in a reasonable amount of time. The staff are friendly and nice. They greet me with a smile, and have my order to me in a timely fashion, which is about all I ask or expect. This is where I like to get pizza in the neighborhood, and I will be back.

Ordered here from work twice last week as the co-worker was craving an Italian sub, read some reviews & they appeared to be ok so we gave them a shot… Couldn’t decide so I got a Chix Ceaser Salad and the Greek Calzone. The calzone was Ginormous(even though it said small) the salad was good too… The chicken although a weird color was soo tasty. The italian was good she stated — Toasted one time & then we ordered again & not toasted so if you prefer one way or the other make sure to note. Got the Steak Tip Salad the second time & they tasted JUST like the Chicken — they use all the same seasoning. It was good, they are triple points on Foodler & they deliver fairly fast to work. WIll def order again!

Ordered online delivery when visiting Cambridge. The pizza arrived fast and hot. It had a great taste, wasn’t overly sauced, and was perfectly cooked. The humor of the entire ordering process was… When we placed the order to have delivered in our Hotel room, we asked if they take credit card. They said, «Yes.You shall pay in cash.» WTF? lol Good pizza though.

Unassuming and tucked away on a corner in Cambridgeport sits this really great pizzeria. I’m a huge pizza fan, and this is very good NY style pizza. It was so good, I ate WAY more than I should have. YUM!

Absolutely disgusting. I ordered a veggie pizza. No meat but I still like my pizza to taste like pizza. Came super quickly but was completely soggy and not fully cooked and the cheese had slid all the way off, as the consistency of the pizza was ridiculously watery. On top of the poor quality I called back to give feedback and got a «that’s how we make it» as an answer, so to be more specific next time if I want something different. If you are starving and local, maybe. If you really want decent pizza don’t waste your time.

Quick delivery! Yummy poppers! Pizza isn’t as good as NY but it’s good for Cambridge! Always friendly on the phone and additionally they have online ordering.

Pizza took 1:20h to arrive and arrived completely cold. Delivery person refused to come up and demanded I go down to take the pizza from him. Will never order from them again.

I placed an order for delivery right at 11AM when they opened. I got a call at 11:20 stating that my delivery would take an hour at least because they were too busy with catering. NOT very good Customer Service!!! I will go elsewhere where I can be appreciated!

my sister and i discovered this place while we were roaming cambridge. very good paninis! did not enjoy my calzone though — i think it was just the combination of stuff, not so much the actual food. i just wasn’t feeling it. it’s a small place, not the cleanest i’ve ever seen but it was pretty quiet and they had the world cup games on so we had fun just eating and watching the games.

Love this pizza store! Everything that I’ve had from here has been exceptional rather than Dimitrio’s across the street that upset my stomach every time I ate there!

Well, the first time I had their pizza I thought it was the greatest and most delicious pizza in the whole wide world. But that’s probably because I was starving, so of course at that point anything would taste great! I recently ordered a regular cheese pizza, and was a bit disappointed! Way too cheesy, flaky and plain crust, and just not good! Their onion rings were nothing special. Maybe it was just bad luck? Maybe I should try other things? On the other hand prices were reasonable, and delivery was quick. So maybe if I find myself starving again and craving for pizza I will give them another try. But probably not, since there are definitely better options in the area.

What is it with this neighborhood and mediocre pizza? Cambridge Pizzeria is not the worst of the lot but it’s nothing special either. Pros: Superfast delivery within the neighborhood They seem nice They have everything you could possibly want from a neighborhood pizza/sub shop Fresh vegetables on the pizza(as opposed to canned) Not as bad as some other nearby options …That’s really about it Cons: Flavorless dough/crust Wayyyy too much cheese(and the cheese is bland) Too much garlic in the sauce The pepperoni is more like bologna then pepperoni Crappy sub rolls Cheap, flavorless cold cuts Also, more of a «whaaaaat?» than a con, they sent me ranch dressing instead of marinara for my jalapeño poppers. Bizarre. I would definitely take this place over Hi Fi or Cinderella’s but it is not the answer I am looking for to the question of «Pizza?»

Gave them a try after hearing two different strangers talk about them at the laundromat across the street. I have been so impressed. No super-exotic ingredients or clever names for the pizzas, just well-made, well-balanced, fresh everything. The pizza dough comes out with that perfect blend of softness and crispness that is so easy to do at home but so lacking at pizzerias. And the toppings are so good my trying-to-be-vegetarian roommate ate three slices covered in bacon, pepperoni, sausage, and ham. I also tried the Southwest Chicken Panino, and wow. House-made bread, thick grilled chicken, slathered in melty fresh mozzarella. Big enough to feed two small people, or me. Being that this is two blocks from my house, I will be back again and again. There are a lot of things on the menu to try.
