Cambridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

This place is a house of horrors. My relative, a sweet 89-​yr old lady with mild dementia sent here from the hospital as we struggled to find a nursing home for her.
1. There is no «Rehab» that we can see. For example, The «nurses» had patients sitting around for hours in wheelchairs around their station so the «nurses» could keep an eye on them without moving.
2. Our sweet relative, a frail 89-​yr old lady, was not dressed in the warm clothes we provided but in a flimsy hospital gown. The «nurses» couldn’t find her clothing and refused to look for them saying they assumed they were in the laundry – less than 8 hours after we delivered three freshly washed outfits including a warm robe, shoes, socks and slippers, all labeled with name as required. There was no reason for any of it to be at the laundry. They refused to look for the clothes. We could only assume they didn’t want to be bothered dressing her.
3. «Nurses» who are these people? Heartless, untrained, lazy and disorganized. If you treated an elder as poorly as these people do in your home you would be arrested for elder abuse.
When we think of what this hellish dump is charging insurance companies and the gov’t for her «care» (aka neglect) it’s sickening.
Unfortunately unless you are made of money there are few options for vulnerable elders. At least our relative has us to advocate for her, other old folks we saw there, who didn’t have relatives to visit, were in even worse shape.

***DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES TO THAT PLACE, FOR ANYTHING***
GUANTANAMO BAY PRISON WOULD EVEN BE BETTER TO SERVE YOUR PARENTS THEN SENDING THEM TO VERNON HALL NURSING HOME. THIS PLACE IS TRULY A TORTURE CAMP. You will be sorry.
I am in process of suing these maniacal bastards for the sorry ass, worthless, poor treatment they provided to my loved one and truly wouldnt wish even my own enemies to send their parents at that Hell hole. The cover up to your loved ones if an injury takes place is beyond f u cking believable. Its like everything is swept under the rug, no accountability for sh it., FUCK YOU VERNON HALL, YOU PIECE OF SHT, MY GRANDPARENT IS NEAR HIS DEATH BED BECAUSE OF SEVERAL INJURIES SUSTAINED FROM YOUR PLACE THAT YOU TRIED TO COVER UP.
Their clothes, items, jewelry, everything or anything valuable will be stolen. Better get a public health department agent on standby to help investigate injuries to your grandparents and negligence when it happens. So dam sad I can t even give this piece of shit place a negative zero mark because thats what they properly deserve.
I HOPE THAT PIECE OF SHIT PLACE RUNS OUT OF BUSINESS SO THEY DO NOT OPERATE AGAIN UNDER FALSE PRETENSE. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE, DON’T SEND YOUR GRANDPARENTS IF YOU TRULY LOVED THEM, YOU’LL BE SORRY.
