The three of us, my daughter and her friend, are big fans of this store in general, the clothes are great! But the sales clerk in the Newbury Street store on the morning of Saturday the 17th was so rude. We will never go to that store again while she’s employed. We thought that snobby Newbury street attitude had faded away, but it was back in force yesterday.

Although I got what I wanted at the end(after threatening to writing a bad review), I still cannot stop thinking about the horrible experience I had with the store manager yesterday. A week ago I bought 6 necklaces at the store, during a buy-one-get-the-second-one off promotion. I was not sure I wanted to keep all of them — I wanted to try them at home with different outfits and decide. I asked the sales associates about their return policy and she said I had 2 weeks to return them. I went back the week after to return 3 of the necklaces. Little did I know that it would take me 40 minutes to make the store manager reason and use her logic and common sense. According to her, given that I was returning 3 of the 6 necklaces and that the promotion had ended, she wanted to charge me full price on the 3 necklaces I had bought the prior week during the promotion. I was trying to reason with her and try to agree on charging me the full price for 2 necklaces and 50% for the third one. Why should my returning of some items afterwards change the deal I got on the items I kept? I was aware that the price of the items would have changed given the nature of the promotion, but I was not expecting the store to not honor the promotion for the items I had already bought and was keeping. My attempts to reason with this logic were to no avail. She just kept insisting that I had kept the cheapest necklaces so that even though I had paid for those the day of the promotion, the fact that I was returning some of them made me lose the promotion completely and I had to pay full price for all the items I had kept. She kept saying that their computer systems could not deal with this situation, so she had to return all of them and then re-buy the ones I had kept, so she could not reapply the promotion of the prior week. To me this seems more like their problem than mine, since I have never heard of a store that does not honor its promotion on the items that you keep, if you return some of them. Add to this frustrated customers that were waiting in line to pay — since the manager was the only one in the store at that moment — and you get the picture! After 30 minutes of trying to make the store manager reason and having no one to complain to I gave up and asked to proceed with the return and charge me full price for the 3 items I had kept. Did it end here? No no no no no… The store manager could not figure out how much to reimburse me, and apparently the computer but also the calculator were not of a big help. Here it goes another 10 minutes of me trying to explain to her that the return to me should have been double the amount she was calculating with her computer AND the calculator. I patiently walked her through and finally… after 10 minutes she got it!!! YAY! At the end she did give me the discount for the third necklace but this came after a lot of frustration, wasted time and a threat to writing a bad review online. During the rest of the day I thought for a while about whether I should write the bad review. The reason I did is because I still keep thinking about the bad experience I had at that store yesterday, even though I prevailed in getting them honor the promotion. I am not planning to ever return to that store but wanted to warn the readers of this review about what to expect in terms of customer service.

I go to the locations in Saugus and Lynnfield. This boutique is currently my favorite store! everything in there is so unique! It’s not cheap but the quality of the clothes is definitely worth it. Normally I find the jewelry to be good quality except for one thick, hard, gold bracelet I got that snapped right in half while I was putting it on one day. The store did let me take it back and reimbursed me. The only thing I’ve noticed about these two locations was almost every time I go in, the girls who work there are gossiping about things they probably shouldn’t be talking about out on the floor(parties they went to, boys they’re dating). Just a little awkward if you’re one of few customers strolling around. DEFINITELY check this boutique out. You will fall in love with all their cute and unique accessories!

I came in this past week in hopes that I could find the perfect jewelry to wear to a wedding this upcoming weekend. The sales associates stopped what they were doing and helped me by picking out various necklaces and earrings to make the perfect set. The girls were amazing and I couldn’t have asked for better help picking out the jewelry for my cousin’s special day!

Great little boutique! Its usually hit and miss, but when it’s a hit it is so worth it. Also its not expensive like boutiques usually are.

I only give it a 4 star rating for the jewlrey. I love their jewlrey collection, it’s unique and has various styles. However, for the bags, the quality sucks. Every bag I purchased from them, the zipper or something else breaks. So, I won’t be purchasing any more bags for them. The clothes seems nice and boho chic/romantic. Definitely for the young crowd and for the slim, albeit they do have some sizes in Large and I think even a few in X-L. I will continue to go here, only for the jewlrey.

I didn’t know about this place until recently which is AWESOME and TERRIBLE. Awesome because this place is great! They have some really unique pieces that are priced correctly! Not too expensive but not too cheap where it will fall apart. The terrible part? well, just the fact that my wallet may get a little lighter in the near weeks. :-)

The store and the merchandise it’s self was absolutely beautiful they have a very eclectic array of clothing. I was also incredibly enamored by the amazing jewlery pieces, however in all of MA i have not experienced such horrible customer service, when asked what was in something the worker rudely responded«Umm whatever it says on the product.» When asked where the merchandise comes from she simply responded«We get it from vendors why don’t you read the label!» Not to mention she talked on the phone to her friends about her plans for tonight rather than give her customers attention. On top of that she proceeded to tell her co-workers how aggravating we were right in front of her just for asking her a few questions about the merchandise. As much as i loved the uniqueness of the elegant boutique and the trendy fashion designs, i will not ever consider stepping a foot into Francesca’s Collections again. I would not suggest this store unless you love customer abuse.

I love this store! I always find fun and cute items for gifts and for myself. I went in the Friday before Christmas with zero ideas for my sister-in-law and I found a few cute things for her, my mom, and some cute stuff for me. The sales girl was beyond helpful– she asked me who I was looking for, what her style was, and what kind of thing I was planning on getting. Then she brought out a selection for me in no time and also brought out a pair of earrings that were the last pair(and she was even planning on purchasing them) — which were super cute and I bought as a gift. She was so helpful and I appreciate her high level of customer service– especially 2 days before Christmas when the stores are crazy busy!

Lots of adorable and affordable spring/summer dresses have recently arrived at Francesca’s. Hard to decide exactly what to get, but at these prices, I ended up with two stylish looks for my spring vacation.

I’ve walked by Francesca’s several times in the Cambridgeside Galleria and decided to pop in a few weeks ago. It is a surprisingly charming, wallet-friendly boutique. The set up of the store is really cute and the girls working there are friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of dresses, accessories, and handbags. You can tell the clothes are thoughtfully selected. I wish they had more clothes in my size, or maybe it’s a good thing they don’t!
