If you need a patent, don’t go here. I was quoted «a couple thousand dollars» for a patent because, in their words, the patent was «a simple one». I did all of the background research into similar patents myself.
I was asked to pay half of the cost before the work even started. A few months later, I was asked for the other half. A few months after that, I was asked for more money, then more to pay to fix a flaw in their original drawings. All in all, I paid close to $ 4,000 and never received a patent.
Over a year later, I was told that I would need to pay, at least, an additional $ 4,000. This $ 4,000 is additional to the $ 4,000 I had already paid. $ 8,000 is a far cry from $ 2,000.
