Linda Buchwald, MD

I waited a year to get in to see Dr. Buchwald and it was well worth it. She is an MS specialist and I highly recommend her. She spends a great deal of time with her patients, is very thorough, has a long history of advocating for MS patients in Washington, writes a regular research column in the MS Connections magazine, also has a cadre of specialists who work with her in various disciplines to provide well-​rounded care (e.g. nurse, orthotist, OT, PT, social worker, psychiatrist, etc.) in her MS Clinic which is held ~ monthly. I have seen many neurologists over the past 10 years, many of whom are lauded as the «best» in the field in the Boston area, and Dr Buchwald, is, hands down, better than all of them. She really understands the disease. I’d hate to tell you about the mishaps I experienced elsewhere. It is pretty scary. I want my fellow MS patients to know about her, although, I admit, I’m inclined to keep this secret gem to myself. She is at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. Get in to see her if you can!
