Moves & Vibes Dance Co

We worked with Inna on learning dance steps for our first dance at our wedding reception. We had five 1 hr classes and she helped us work on basic steps, turns, and taught us a handful of moves to keep our dance fun (including the signature dip at the end). During the 3^rd-​5^th lessons we worked on a few moves to go with the music and add a little fun. Inna was great at thinking about the beginning, middle, and end of the dance and was patient with us newbies (we have limited dance experience). Our first dance went wonderfully and everyone loved it. Inna is easy to schedule with, very sweet to work with, and always excited about your first dance. We definitely recommend Inna and the dance company for first dance assistance :)

They were so helpful. She helped us with our complex first dance song. We had never danced before and we looked great on our wedding night. She designed our first dance and helped us learn it. She was extremely patient and helpful.

I was in Boston just for a week and dropped in on the beginner zouk class that was taught by Edwin and Inna. It was one of the highlights of my trip. The instruction was so helpful, and more complete, in my opinion, than the instruction I’ve seen in classes I normally have access to. Plus I found both the instructors and the students super friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a really fun, helpful, and informative hour!

I began taking classes at Moves and Vibes in the late spring/​early summer and it has been such a fun learning and dance experience. Inna is a caring teacher who always encourages us to participate and dance and have fun while learning. She is such a dedicated teacher. Moves and Vibes also offers Samba, Forro, Gafieira, Bachata and always encourages social outings and participation which is a real differentiator from so many other programs. If you want to learn to social dance and meet some fun, and cool people this is the place to be.

Just like in Brazil — fun, fun, fun when you are involved with Moves & Vibes! Our group Europeans in Boston, that has over 10,000 members enjoyed a collaboration with Moves & Vibes many times: from taking dancing classes to celebrating Brazilian carnivals. This company delivered even more what was on our wish list: from beautiful samba dancers, to drumming musical performance that takes your imagination far away from cold New England night to a hot Brazilian beach. We highly recommend Moves & Vibes to any company who wold like to bring a little zest for their employees, or to anyone who wants to dance like there is no tomorrow. I was learning salsa until a friend of mine introduced me to forro. I love it, can’t get enough of it. Moves & Vibes is the best! The instructors Inna & Carlos are superb at what they do. I felt awkard in the beginning and a little nervous but they made me feel so welcome and they have alot of patience especially with me. They are great instructors, if you have any questions on any move, they actually stop and show you how its done. It’s almost like getting a private lesson, they are that good. If i could give them a 10 star they would surely have it.

Very impressive, attentive, kind, and patient instructors who know how to have FUN. I started taking classes here a couple of months ago after having taken Brazilian Forró classes and Salsa classes elsewhere. What I love about this place is that it is a very nurturing environment to learn to dance from beginner to advanced. Inna and Carlos are serious about what they do and provide detailed thoughtful critiques to students individually which makes a huge difference in being able to improve skills even in a group environment. Their patience is superb. In addition to that, the are excellent at communicating and organizing dance events so that you can actually practice what you’re learning. If you want to learn in a supportive and fun environment, this is the place to go!

I used the services for the choreography of our first dance for our wedding this past September. Both Inna and Glenio are absolutely amazing people to work with as they accommodated our crazy schedule before the wedding. Inna is very patient with explaining the complex steps and Glenio is very creative in putting together the choreography keeping in mind the comfort level of their clients. I would recommend them to anyone that is preparing something special for their big day and even be part of their regular classes for different dance styles as a fun night. Energy level is high and attention to client even higher. Simply put, they are nothing short of perfection!!! They deserve the 5 stars for service!
