This pharmacy is fine. Some of the staff are really helpful and friendly — others not helpful at all. For regular prescriptions, when there are refills remaining, it’s fairly easy to have them filled. I always call and speak directly to the staff to have them filled(in other words, I don’t use the automated line). Seems to work better that way.

I find the negative review confusing because I have almost always received great service at this pharmacy. The pharmacists know who I am and are pleasant to work with. They also know my doctors and the Watertown/Cambridge community well. I wish I could go there for all my ‘scripts but my health plan makes it cheaper to use a send away pharmacy. If I have a one off prescription I go here — much better than CVS!

I have been using this pharmacy for a long time. They are ok once you have a regular prescription and you call it in several days in advance of pick up. Reasons I hate this place: I never ever get a kid’s prescription filled right away, they always have to order days in advance. Very little I have ever brought in was in stock on the first filling of a prescription. They always always say my doctor didn’t fax over a prescription, even if I watched the fax machine go with my own eyes, and this can go on for days. I’ll come back to see if they had time to process it yet, and they insist it never came in. I have to go in in the morning and get Hasmik to check on it, or I can expect the guy to have no time to get it. I recently wasted trip upon trip while their new staff accidentally puts my prescription on hold for weeks, while I keep coming in and asking for it, and then when I finally pick it up, they say, ‘gee, you’re not using it so much anymore.‘ Almost nothing is in stock when I bring a new script in. Or maybe I get one or two pills and have to come come back. But still, nothing worse than getting useless nonsense.
