We ordered to pick up tonight for a night in and we were very happy with our choice. It was very easy to order online and the website was easier to use than others. The food was pretty good. Definitely better than other places in the area.

Take out Indian. Was ok, got the non– vegetarian combo dinner. Would have been helpful if the various containers were labeled. Thought the yoghurt dip was kheer, disappointed when I opened it last. Chicken was dry and generally ok. Not a lot pop, just ok.

If I could wouldn’t give 1 star as well. I came to drop my friend nearby for his new lease and decided to eat out here.
My only recommendation is to never try out here. Didn’t like a single dish they had.

Extremely slow service, my friend had to wait more than 45!!! mins for his main dish. The worst part is their food is very low standard with meat (took the non veg combo) being too hard etc.
There was no flavor to the curry or the meat starters, tastes like cheap ingredients in a salty gravy they were also very very dry. Pathetic food quality, i am surprised at such lack of competence.
The only thing decent was their meat pakoda which again was served with no mint chutney which is the norm.
To get a good indicator of how sub standard they are, just go thru the reviews given by indian customers.
Will never go back or recommend this pathetic restaurant to anyone.

Got the lunch take-​out (8.99 for all you can fit in a take-​out container). Good food overall. Naan was by request only but was very tasty.

This is hands-​down the worst Indian food I’ve eaten anywhere. The lunch buffet consisted of typical Indian buffet fare — Chicken Tikka Masala, Chana Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Pakoras, and a few others — and all were sub-​par. Every dish was either smothered in grease or drowning in heavy cream, presumably to mask cheap ingredients like frozen mixed vegetables and leftover cardboard-​dry chunks of chicken. The naan, which was brought on request, was warm and soft, and perhaps their only redeeming dish.
Also there was no air circulation in the small storefront and we left wreaking of pungent food smells.
Being newly opened, I would’ve assumed that the owners would put some effort into attracting customers with quality ingredients and dishes. I definitely will not be going back.

Love this place! The food is great, it’s super cozy and they have lunch buffet. I hope this plays stays open, i’m a huge fan of it :) I usually get the spicy channa masala (vegetarian) and have not been disappointed. The pricing is standard for indian places in Cambridge, and the food comes with Papadum crackers and a selection of sauces. I didn’t have any problems with the service — it’s a little on the slower side, but if i’m sitting down at a restaurant anyway i’m usually not in a rush. I’ve also done takeout from here and never had any issues.

I’m so glad this place re-​opened after mysteriously closing for a few months.
I’ve only had the lunch buffet here, but it was wonderful. Every dish was flavorful and fresh, and there was a wide variety to choose from beyond the standby chicken tikka masala. It wasn’t very spicy (probably because it was the buffet; they have to cater to a variety of palates), but that’s fine by me, because I have the spice tolerance of a 5-​year-​old. I’m sure that for dinner service you could request more spice.
Will definitely be coming back, especially as the weather gets colder and I start wanting this kind of warm comfort food. :)

Not very spicy. But also I think they are no longer in business. This was the shortest time I have ever seen a restaurant open. Wonder who they crossed paths with.

Unusually poor service. We were told to seat ourselves by a man who spent the first twenty minutes of our stay talking on his cell phone in the middle of the dining area. The waitress did not improve matters, and didn’t seem to understand we needed water for the kids too (and then brought out, ten minutes later, a single papadom for our table of four.
It took even longer to get menus, and when we tried to order we were told the Vegetarian Meal For Two (which contains, among other things, «two vegetarian dishes of your choice») does not include vegetarian dishes of our choice — she was unable to tell us exactly what the dishes included were.
Undeterred, unfortunately, we ordered individually, and had to repeat everything twice. I ordered a coffee off their menu, and the waitress said they don’t have coffee and asked if it was on the menu. I confirmed, and asked for tea instead.
It took around 25 minutes for our appetizers to arrive, and 40 more before the main course. The tea did not appear, and the waitress did not refill our water until I asked (and even then, only filled each glass halfway.) At some point the waitress disappeared and a younger man replaced her, and I asked him again for our tea.
We finished and asked for our check, and he asked if we still wanted our tea — we had ordered it around an hour and a half prior at this point, and we declined. There was no apology for the late food or the forgotten tea.
The food was okay, not great.

A very welcome addition to the neighborhood. The vegetarian combo meal for two was tasty and enormous — plenty of food for dinner and lunch the next day.

I ordered karahi chicken and matter paneer spicy hot. It was delicious with tandoori roti. The rice which came with the two dishes were delicious because they added cumin (spice) to their rice, which was a plus point because normally a lot of the Indian Restaurants serve plain white basmati rice.
Will go back again and try something new.

My wife and I came here for dinner this evening.
We ordered Mali Kofta, the Non-​Vegetarian special (I wanted to try everything) and a mango lassi.
We liked the Mango Lassi a lot. It is definitely better than what we’ve had at other popular indian restaurants in Boston.
The Mali Kofta was ok. The ball was a bit too doughy but the sauce was very good.
As for my Non-​Vegetarian special, it’s multi course. The first was a lentil soup, that was ok. The next part was the meat samosa. The samosa had a nice crispy exterior but the meat inside was not as hot as I was expecting.
Once I got the main course of the meal, the chicken tikka marsala was good, nice kick to it. The tandoori chicken was good. The kebab was a bit overcooked. The naan was very good, nice texture, fluffy and went very well with the sauce.
For dessert, we got the Kulfi Mango. That was good. It tasted like caramel ice cream with a hint of mango.
All in all, we enjoyed our meal and would certainly come back for the buffet so that we could try everything else.

Hurrah! A new Indian restaurant on Cambridge Street in East Cambridge. A few details to hammer out (i.e. service — just act like a waiter in restaurants you usually go to, serve apps before main courses, drinks should come out within five minutes of being ordered, etc.) but after some trial and error, they should be fine.

The food is fine… Was expecting better… Generic Punjabi Indian restaurant with generic indian food.
Very bummed this neighborhood wasn’t going to be suprised with better.
Probably will not be back. Not a lot of spice. Not a particularly cheap place either… Way too pricey for the quality.
