It did seem affiliated with the university, although I am not sure exactly but I was asked when I entered the door. I thought the mass was nice but the music was not very good and they went on for what seemed like ever! I am all for good church music but really over 40 min in an hour and a half mass is a bit much now.

St. Paul Parish is affiliated with Harvard University. I go here for Sunday mass when I’m in the area, but it’s on the rarely/​occasional side. I did go here for an Easter Vigil once (that was incredibly long because of those being confirmed… just FYI).
To be quite honest, I’m not too crazy over the music because it’s a little more traditional than I’d like. But that’s just a matter of taste. And I have only been to one mass with a choir, so there’s usually just a cantor when I’m there. If you want to check out the choirs, on Sunday the adult choir is at 9:30AM and the Boston boy choir and the men’s schola sings during the 11AM mass.
Because they are affiliated with Harvard, their schedule depends on the school year. On Saturdays during the school year, there are vigil masses at 5PM in the upper church and there is a family mass at 5PM in the lower church. On Sunday there are masses at 7:30AM, 9:30AM, and 11AM. During the academic year there is a 5PM mass in the lower church and during the summer there is 7PM. And for those of you that want to pop in. there are daily masses at 9AM and 12 noon and then at AM on Saturday.
As far as programming goes, along with the regular Harvard Catholic Center events they also have a grad and young professional program. In addition to that, they have homeless outreach, visitation, and a food pantry. Check out the website for details on these programs and what the food pantry needs.
