Rutgers the State University

I have just moved onto the Rutgers Camden campus for graduate school. So far I am very impressed with the organization that they have with Rutgers new Brunswick. I had gone to Newark Rutgers and they had no collaboration with the other rutger’s so when I needed something it was annoying. Here it is not the case they work well with the other rutger’s and it makes things a breeze. I am living in the graduate dorms at 330 cooper and I have to say they are gorgeous they are four bedroom suites and 4 separate bedrooms with a large living area and two bathrooms to share. I have not been to any classes yet but have met with a lot of my teachers and they all seem very professional down to earth but professional which is what you want from a professor. I am very glad they accepted me to come here because I have only been here a day and am amazed at this place. They make you feel like you are at home with the massive campus all the amenities and security like you wouldn’t belive. If you are looking to finish your degree or try and get another I would recommend this campus. This is a subjective view as I go here.

I graduated from Rutgers University — Camden. I go back regularly to help with alumni functions and to provide support with the Honors College and admissions. This is one of the best academic campuses in the state, and you will learn more here and have access to so many opportunities in the Metro Philly, NYC, and DC areas because of the partnerships and faculty involved. Going here was a great decision, but I wish the university would make some capital improvements to the physical buildings to keep up with other universities.
Rutgers-​Camden will forever shine on the banks of the old Delaware!

I’ve been a regular of this establishment since 2009. it is difficult to write about a place that supplies you with the best tools in the world — knowledge; however, I can write about the servants. first of all, don’t let the location intimidate you. it is Camden, but the «beautified» part of it. Rutgers police is everywhere and unless you are completely careless you will be safe. for example, I wouldn’t walk back to the parking lot at night, but rather take the Rutgers bus.
some buildings are better than others. do not expect Princeton-​U feel when you walk down the halls. generally the place is fairly neat and clean.
the administration is on and off: accounting people are helpful and pleasant; general administrative offices are… not so much.
now, for the quality of education. there are some incredibly talented professors that will make you love your college experience. some adjunct instructors are okay at best, but generally I am very satisfied with the quality.
the career services folks are knowledgeable and helpful.
the cafeteria is actually very good and reasonably prices.
the library is a little bit of a mess, but that is only because it’s been under construction for the past couple of years.
there is life on campus, thanks to different events and trips, etc…
generally, it is a good bang for your buck.
