History

Established in 2007.

Really it all started when 12-​year-​old Salvatore Santoro Sr. moved with his family from a small town in southern Italy to Brooklyn, NY. That’s Ken’s grandfather. Ken credits his family and Italian heritage for his charismatic people-​oriented demeanor and the joy that he gets from serving the very best espresso drinks. Caffe Santoro seeks to carry on the Santoro legacy here in the Sierra Foothills. Come and be part of our history in the making.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Ken & TJ are the father and son team behind Caffe Santoro. Ken’s background is in the graphic arts where he grew up learning the printing trade from his own father. He successfully owned and operated S&S West Printing Services in San Leandro, California for 19 years. His most recent employment history includes stints at notable companies such as Starbucks Coffee Company, Cold Stone Creamery and Nugget Markets. While partnering with Ken in the management and vision of Caffe Santoro, TJ has now graduated with a BS in Math and now pursuing a post graduate degree. Needless to say we miss him, good thing he’s our son so we’ll see him at Christmas ;)
