History

Established in 2001.

Upon finishing a 20 year engineering management career in Product Development and Manufacturing at Intel, Dave evolved his website building hobby into a business. Over the years, Dave has developed on Front Page, Dreamweaver and Expression working in numerous programming languages. Since 2008, he’s built primarily on the Joomla platform. Dave services a local clientele in Northern California, clients across the United States as well as international clients in China and the Philippines.

Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Dave is an ardent Steeler, Pirates and Penguins fan. An avid golfer, Dave got his web development start building custom web database aps for golf tourneys and groups like www. hairycrab, com & www​.golf​bums​.org. Businessmen from Dave’s various golf ventures began asking for websites and Dave Dodds Web Development was born. Dave’s Intel career included 8 years as an expatriate in Manila and Shanghai. This has led to an international clientele for his web business.

When not building websites, Dave can be found golfing, traveling, coaching his kids’ sports teams, and volunteering for various non-​profits.
