History

Established in 1962.

Our company’s roots go back to the early 1960’s, when our president’s father, Robert L. Goodall Sr. spent the last $ 35 of the family savings on a pool salesman kit. This one kit turned into the first pool job completed by Goodall Pools & Spas. The first Goodall Pools location had a rather modest beginning, functioning out of Bob Sr’s and his wife Joanne’s basement at their home on Elm Street in New Cumberland. One day in 1974, Bob Jr. got involved in the pool business when he was sent out in a truck to help build a pool. Before long he became more involved with all aspects of the business. In 1993, Bob’s sister Tracey came to work full-​time to handle the financial department. When Bob Goodall Sr. passed away in 1995, Bob Jr, carried on the business and has run it with the help of many loyal and dedicated employees.
