#1 Auto Repair and Smog is an independent repair shop in Campbell. We strive to please our customers with great workmanship and customer service. In order to do that, we hire ASE certified technicians and educate our customers about their vehicles. We feel the best approach is the honest one.

We service all makes and models and perform a variety of repairs which consist of but are not limited to: oil changes, 30/​60/​90k services, tune ups, tires, smogs, engine/​transmission swaps, and the list goes on.

I was there just getting gas and one of the mechanics noticed while at the pump that my front left tire needed air. When I looked down and saw how low my tire was, I knew instantly that this man saved me from either getting into a horrible accident on the highway or getting stuck on the side of the road.
Amar had me pull my car around and he filled up my tire and checked all my other tires as well just in case before he sent me on my way. He didn’t expect anything in return. That’s when you know you have good people working at this location. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this auto repair shop if I ever needed something in the future. Thank you so much for your help Amar!!!

Amar really helped me out. He saved me $ 600 on a steering rack job. He will break down every detail about the car with you and give you multiple options. I’m glad I went to him for a second opinion, because he was extremely friendly and informative compared to other body shops I visited. Give Amar a chance, because he won’t disappoint. He had the job done the next day! He’s a man of his word and will be my future go-​to-​guy from here on out.

I couldn’t say enough good things about Amar, when it comes to mechanics we all know how hard it is to find a trustworthy one and with years of coming back to Amar he has always been a huge help to and the best customer service ever. He has always been honest with me and I not only take my cars to him but all my families vehicles as well. He is truly one of a kind I would recommend them to any one and everyone!

Peoples, listen up. Amar is the real deal. Not only did he put my mind at ease with his vast knowledge of auto mechanics, he stayed within my budget. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. Even told me the next steps I need to follow up on to keep my car in tip-​top shape. Oh yeah, one other thing, I only have one car and he made sure while he was working on my car, my son would make it to his work on time. Who does that??? AMAR DOES… Please, please go to this man for your auto problems and/​or questions. You will not be disappointed. I am a customer for life.

Damn this dude really knows his stuff. Was able to go in and leave 20min later thanks to Amar. He was helpful, friendly and even gave me a couple pointers on what to look out for with my truck. I will definitely be coming back here if I need any other help.

I went here for a smog check. For some reason he was unable to do it so he referred me to another shop about ½ mile away, All Car LLC, who honored the coupon for this place.

I took my Mercedes GL bluetec diesel here for the A & B service. I dropped it off on Friday morning and it was done the next day just like it was promised.
They did inspection and noticed that the breaks needed to be services and took care of it, I’m glad I didn’t have to waste time and come back again just to do the breaks.
We had the car back and took it for a road trip to San Diego for a weekend.
We saved a lot of money and got same service as a dealer for fraction of the cost. I’m definitely coming back for my future car needs.
