The Idea

The inspiration behind A to B Dry Clean Direct comes from founders: Alex Atkins and Benjamin Kain-​Williams «A to B.» Ben was leaving for a business trip to the east coast the following morning and was planning to stop off at the local dry cleaners to pick up his suits on the way home. All of his suits.

Leaving the office at 5:00pm would usually allow him plenty of time to get to the dry cleaners before 6:00pm when they closed. Well, it started raining and there was an accident on the freeway. What should have been a 25 minute drive ended up taking an hour and twenty minutes. Had the owner of the dry cleaner not been such a saint and stayed open for him, Ben would have been forced to buy a completely new wardobe for his trip. Needless to say it was a very unpleasant and stressful experience.
