Bay Area Professionals for Firearm Safety and Education

My wife and I attended the NRA Basic Pistol Class offered by BAYPROFS on Saturday. I convinced my wife to enroll with me; but admittedly, I was a bit concerned that she might quickly lose interest. My fears proved unfounded. All of the BAYPROFS instructors were passionate about firearms and firearms safety; and their enthusiasm was contagious. Although it was an all-​day class, both the lecture and the time on the range seemed to fly quickly. There were only nine students attending the class that day; but there were at least five different BAYPROFS instructors, most of whom were there the better part of the day so that each student who wanted it received lots of individual attention during the hands-​on exercises. By the end of the day, my wife was talking excitedly about what pistols she liked and how well she shot.
I would highly recommend BAYPROFS for firearms instruction and look forward to taking more classes from them in the future. The BAYPROFS instructors are all volunteers, and I really appreciate that they were willing to spend their Saturday sharing their knowledge and expertise with us – and let us shoot their guns.
