Bob Barrie – Keller Williams Realty

Bob has helped me purchase two multi-​unit residential properties in the last year and a half, all I can say is that he made both transactions seem like a cake walk. One was a bank owned property, the other was a regular sale. He is very responsive to what I want and I value his opinions as well, ie: what he thinks about the neighborhood, the building itself, etc. Another cool thing that Bob does is he drives to the property first, then gives his feedback whether its worth it for me to drive there as well. I will definitely be calling Bob when I’m in the market to buy another property.

Bob is a realtor that goes above and beyond what I would ever expect from a realtor. I purchased a foreclosure home and he was the agent that would be selling the house once it was ready to go on the market. He did much more than sell the property. He communicated with the owner and was vigilant about making sure she was out on the day she stated.
He was professional, followed up on all details to the point of going to the property at 9 pm to install a carbon monoxide detector before the inspections.
He obtained multiple offers over the asking price. I look forward to working with Bob on my next transaction.

Bob Barrie is the real deal. I had tried out a few different realtors, ones that came very highly recommended (some with multi-​million dollar homes on their listings, some with houses on the other end of the spectrum, and some in between) and they were fine. But when I met Bob, they all paled in comparison. Bob is the type of realtor that you think realtors are going to be like, but they don’t really exist. First off, Bob previews houses before you go to see them! Who does that these days?! No one that I met, or even heard of. And he doesn’t give more time to those that will bring in more money for him. All clients hold the same value for him. He does great research on the type of house you are looking for, then goes and previews them for you so that you don’t have to waste your time! Then you pick which ones you’d like to see (or you can advise him on ones that you have seen in the listing, as well). You show up and he’s already gotten there before you, and is standing there in the house, welcoming you and your spouse or family like a gentleman. And he is very knowledgeable about homes and the housing market. He really pays attention to what it is that YOU are looking for. He is a rare breed as far as realtors go. I couldn’t believe that I found him on Angie’s list (I started to read Angie’s list because I was so unimpressed with all the other realtors I had been working with – I will post this on Angie’s list as well). I didn’t really believe the reviews I read about him, they sounded so good, and so different than what I had previously experienced. But like I said, he is the real deal!

When my family and I decided to team up and help buy me my first home it was so hard to find an agent that would stick with us. Maybe it was due to our budget or what we were looking for. I talked to so many people and although some seemed promising no one actually followed through except Bob. From the first time I talked to him he was super friendly and helpful and actually sounded interested in helping me. He always was prepared and was super flexible with showing us our potential homes (and he showed us ALOT!) :) it took alot of time and even when it seemed hopeless Bob stood by us until we got the keys to my new place! I couldn’t be happier. Thank you Bob! :)

My fiancé and I met Bob through an online referral website when we first decided to look for a house about a year and a half ago. From the get-​go, we knew we had an awesome agent. Our price range was on the way-​low side for a house in the Bay Area, yet somehow Bob found properties to show us. After looking at foreclosed house after foreclosed house, we decided the Bay Area would probably not work for us, and decided to look in the Discovery Bay area. I asked Bob if we could take him with us, but it was of course too far of a drive. The Realtor we had in Discovery Bay made us realize exactly how special Bob really is. We really missed him! When I got promoted at my company, we were happy to leave that Realtor behind and head straight back to Bob to once again look at houses in the South Bay Area again. Bob was SOO patient with me and worked so closely with us, I cannot imagine a better Realtor! He spends much of his time previewing houses and weeds out the houses he knows isn’t right, and you can tell. The house we’re closing on in a week was so difficult for Bob to preview, but he still found a way to check it out and get us in there (it was quite an adventure). If you want a Realtor that is kind, very knowledgeable, extremely patient, and just downright amazing, call Bob. I promise you won’t regret it!

Bob was the perfect agent for us. From start to finish he was there for us. Bob took the extra time to explain everything to us and to get answers that we needed in order to make an informed decision to buy our property. We had met Bob two years ago before we moved to the Bay Area during an open house. He took down our info and almost immediately began sending emails of houses to us based on our preferences. He would check in with us every few months or so. Never pushy he would just see where we were on our search. For two years! I think most agents would’ve given up on us, but not Bob. I think he understood that this process doesn’t happen overnight and he waited until we were ready. Once we were serious Bob sprung into action. This was our 6^th home that we have purchased over the years. Bob broke the mold of my opinion of Realtors. I had used them as a vehicle to see the houses that I had personally picked and to assist us with our contract. Bob was patient and took the time to find out what our likes and dislikes where. He then did something extraordinary. Bob actually hunted homes that we liked and personally previewed them before we saw them as to not waste our time. Maybe this is what all Realtors should be doing, but this was the first time that someone took the reins and was able to find our dream house. His home selections were completely what we were looking for. I remember he had picked out 6 homes for us to look at and we were loving every property he selected. Each one was a little better than the other. Then he took us to the last one of the day and Bob said «This is the one I really want to show you». We fell in love immediately, it had everything we were looking for and put a contract on the property on the spot. After the contract his organization was excellent. Bob kept us on track and provided us with the tools to make sure that we closed on our house on time. We must have called him 100 times and he always took the time to answer our calls and gave us all the time we needed to answer our questions. Even after our sale he still checks in from time to time to make sure everything is ok. Bob is a true professional and when I purchase my next property Bob will be the first person I will call.
