Butchart Health Center

I only come here now for b12 shots. I did try their weight loss pill about 2.5 years ago, it was a prescription pill and I think I paid about $ 79 for it which I probably would not recommend because it was only a temporary fix to their weight-​loss program. The pill I received was similar to taking speed which meant it really got you up and moving, it helped curb my appetite but after you run out of these pills it was hard to keep the weight off.
There has been many staff turnover in the past few years that I’ve been coming here. I think they maybe losing a lot of their customers due to the long wait, even with an appointment.

Update: NO I do not want anything from this business, free or not.
This business has the exact same owners as before. Whether through intentional neglect, sociopathy, or just plain incompetence they ran a wonderful chiropractic center (Kirkwood Family Chiropractic) into a disgusting, shameful, hellhole. Nobody, including anyone who worked here, could be proud of this place.
Also, it seems the staff member who was called «a witch» by at least 3 different Unilocalers was the wife of one of the doctors here? And another staff member is their daughter.
If you are a so-​called healthcare professional and you allow a person who is clearly fucking incompetent as well as nasty to treat patients like shit and lower the overall quality of care and experience JUST BECAUSE YOU ARE MARRIED OR RELATED THEM then you deserve to go out of business and you have failed in your duties as a provider.
Unless all the previous owners are no longer associated with this business, I don’t care about superficial changes to the staff.
When health and wellness care providers are this negligent and plain uncaring to run their business into the ground like all the 1 star reviews show, they have completely lost my trust and respect and I’m not taking second chances.
This is your HEALTH and MOBILITY and QUALITY OF LIFE we’re talking about.
No way in hell am I taking my chances on any of the chiros or management that ran Butchart Health Center, at this particular business or elsewhere.

I started going to Butchart in December. I used the Groupon for their spinal decompression and cold laser therapy. After 6 sessions I’ve already felt a noticeable difference, however, Dr Jones recommends 20 for maximum results. I’ll be continuing with this therapy given the progress my back has already made. Dr Jones is knowledgeable, professional, and obviously invested in helping his patients. Diana and the rest of the front desk staff have been incredibly welcoming and helpful.
This business does cater to families so children do accompany their parents to their appointments. During the holiday season they had family friendly holiday movies streaming for the children. It’s a very caring environment.
I would recommend Dr. Jones and Butchart Center to my friends and family.

I am a Dr Butchart fan! I have had back and neck issues on and off for a while now and don’t know what I would do without him. He is a magician and I could go on with superlatives for a while. He has had a huge positive impact on the quality of my life and I owe him.

Got this Groupon and it truly is false advertising. The groupon doesn’t say anything about being a half dosage amount. It sounds like a lot of people get the Groupon deal so they decided to make it a half dosage So if you think you are saving money… think again. I’m trying to get a refund but no word as of yet. It’s very clear that this is up selling at its finest. Also the 20 percent code on groupon doesn’t work either. It sounds like this company needs to edit the description and to start being honest with the public.

HORRIBLE experience.
I made an appointment and went in. The place was packed with people waiting. I waited for 45 minutes past my appointment time. The company has NO business even selling Groupons. The waiting room was FILLED with people waiting. One member of their staff was extremely rude.

I have disk bulge, and disk herniated. I been getting treatment by Dr. Jones thst include DRX therapy. I am off pain killer medicine and almost pain free. They are much more affordable as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is having spinal isdues like myself.

The staff here is ghetto and unprofessional. Avoid at all costs. The MA was talking to me about her baby daddy drama with all these hickeys on her neck. DISGUSTING. Also I had the doctor give me a shot and it left a bruise for 2 weeks. Plus when I saw her draw up the drugs, she didn’t even wipe the top of the multi use vial. Very unsafe practice if you ask me. Avoid at all costs.

I have 7 chiros … i go outta my way to go see DR JONES … nuff said 150 $ gets me a package deal I’ve got disc degeneration etc… but ive maintained my condition with laser/​electric stimulation love it

Nice people, but making an appointment is pointless! They are always late, not even just by a little either. I had a 9:20am appointment and wasn’t even seen until 10am!!! So unprofessional. It’s obvious they knew they were running late. Least they could have done was call people to let then know so I didn’t have to waste 40min sitting in the office. Also if you’re late they prolly wouldn’t even see you but some how is ok for them to be running almost an hour behind. Finally at 9:30am I even asked how much longer and her response was you’re not even close. Wow thanks!

I’ve been going to the weight loss clinic for a little over a year now. I’ve dealt with the long wait times the screaming children and the unexperienced nurses. The vitamin B12 shot helps with my energy level and the drug Phentermine does wonders to suppress your appetite.
After going there numerous times and charging my debit card. I noticed months latter a single charge for $ 170 from the clinic. When I called to inquire about the transaction I was told that their debit card machine had been down. With no previous warning or even a courtesy call they decided to run all the transactions at once. If this wasn’t bad enough. I just recently went back in for another appointment. When I arrived as usual I waited 15 – 20 min. When the «office manager» Ria Garsa witch I had never seen before called my name I approached the desk as she told me that I had 2 missed appointments from 10÷18÷13 and 6÷25÷14 and that if I wanted to be seen I had to pay a $ 40 dollar fee! ARE U KIDDING ME! I was never notified of any of these charges till now. Not only was she rude she didn’t give a rats ass that drove all the way from Sunnyvale and waisted an additional 20 min to get there. Never going there again!!! U shouldn’t either!!!

I read the reviews and I was worried about how my appointment was going to go! But I thought who cares I’m here to lose weight not make friends. I am a mom and yes I took my son with me to this appointment. I got there and it was busy the weight loss clinic is small but the front desk was very nice to me and they put on a kids movie for my son to watch while we waited our turn. I can’t see how kids could run around crazy cause this place is small. I started going to this place in the summer. It’s obvious that you walk in sign the chart and have a seat. I have always been greeted nicely by the girls at the desk. The dr. That I see she is very nice and I have felt so comfortable asking her about other more natural medicines And she always has an answer or she looks in to it and gets back to me. I have always been up and down with my weight especially know that I had a baby. It was so much harder this time to loose the weight. I have even tried the HGC diet only to gain it all back plus more. This is the only diet that has actually worked I have lost around 35 – 40 pounds in a couple of months. I’m eating better and I actually look forward to going to the gym because I’m actually loosing weight! I decided to try to go to the Menlo Park office because it is actually closer to my house (in Mountain View), but OMG! This place is bad. I felt so bad for the girl that helped me do the weight in. It’s not her fault that there scale was 10 pounds off! And the guy that I talked to should have reviewed my chart before seeing me so he would know that I get a full does or at least ask me! He made me feel like he didn’t really care and they both yelled at the girl who weight me about her moving the scale around to see if it would work properly! I called the Campbell office as I walked out of this place and scheduled my next appointment with them. This office is clean, professional and they care about you! Busy yes very busy but just ask them when it’s not so crazy and make your appointments accordingly.

Staff:
I stopped coming here due to the horrible and unprofessional staff. On several occasions, the front receptionist had several large hickeys on her neck. Many uncontrolled children running around including staff’s children at the front desk. One of the doctors tried to promote her other business and handed out her business card. The owner’s wife can be snippy and short with you.
Scheduled Appt:
Your scheduled time doesn’t necessarily mean that is when they will see you. Also, after you are done with the weigh in, vitamin shot and seeing the doctor, they make you wait even longer for check out.
General:
This is such an unprofessionally run business with longer than average wait times, rude staff and condescending office manager. They have massage chairs in the waiting room that are always occupied by the many children that are constantly running around. They finally posted a sign that stated no children in the massage chairs but only after they had broken a few. Now the chairs are taken up by the spouses of the patients to sleep as it takes forever for one appointment.
I cancelled all my appointments with this place and will NEVER come back again!

Disclaimer: Dr. Jeremy Jones is a very good chiropractor who has a complete holistic approach to wellness. The staff is friendly and helpful.
HOWEVER, this is now a primarily non-​English speaking weight-​loss clinic with little kids running around uncontrolled by parents who don’t know any better or have to sit next to each other during treatment.
Unfortunately this isn’t for me any longer.
