Lynn is the absolute best to work with! We have our brand new family member and he is just the best! Lynn’s Shibas are champion bred and all I can say is that you get what u pay for and we got the best little Shiba puppy on the planet! We couldn’t be more happier with Lynn’s professionalism and knowledge of the Shiba Inu breed. She is an outright authority on the breed. You will not find a better Shiba Inu breeder in Northern California in my opinion and I would bet that would apply to the entire state of CA and likely the west coast of the U.S. You simply couldn’t go wrong with a pup from her program. 5 stars simply doesn’t do justice.
12 weeks old — update. Mochi now knows sit, shake, lay, no biting, heel, keep up, drop it, bye bye (come in the house) and more! He knows which rooms he can and can’t go in and loves to be brushed and having his nails grounded down at the tips. He is extremely social and not aggressive. The vet gave him an A+ on his health and condition. Everyone we meet just loves Mochi and we have repeatedly heard that he doesn’t act like ‘other’ Shibas (i.e., being naughty). When he needs to go to the bathroom he will give a Shiba howl or walk towards us, walk in circles and give us that «hey buddy I need to pee» look. He’s cleaner than my Russian blue and Turkish angora have ever been. Mochi is just a clean little pup. Heck, he even organizes his toys in a single spot in the room. I could say more but I think that this is a reflection of Lynn’s breeding program and we all couldn’t be more happy. Lynn always make time to answer any questions or concerns that we might have and from those chats alone, we have learned a boatload about Shibas in general and Mochi!

Lynn is the sweetest dog breeder in town, PERIOD! I have looked into several dog breeders to find the perfect Shiba Inu I always dreamed about. Then I found Lynn and Chuck, who have extensive experience in pure breed show dog breeding and training. She conducted her business very professionally with a personal touch. Here is an example, I named my dog «Bobo» after I found out that there was a litter being born. So Lynn started to use this name on the puppy that I have picked. When Bobo arrives his new home, he immediately knows his name because Lynn has been training him to respond to «Bobo»!! What a delightful experience doing business with her. Most importantly, she and Chuck take very good care of their puppies, such that the puppy from their home loves people, even strangers, because the puppy believes in human due to their socialization trainings. Please remember this when shop around for a puppy: an abused dog or puppy afraid of people. In nature, dog should unconditionally trust a human. Lynn also helps with all the basic information on training a shiba, which is said to be one of the toughest puppy to get trained. Guess what, Bobo know basic commands including «sit», «shake hands», «come» and so on in only two weeks after he arrives his new home. The myth got busted!
All in all, if you shop for a shiba puppy (especially if this is your first), please look no further — C and L show dogs is your ultimate choice!

We spent years admiring Shiba Inus would see in the city. I asked every owner what they liked about their dog and they always said «he/​she is a handful but I LOVE my dog!».
Finally, we made the commitment and searched breeders. It is really hard to find good info on breeders. Shibas have recently gotten more popular and they have small litters — so there is always a demand and a waiting list. I was really put off by some breeders but I started to realize some dog breeders are just not the most socially graceful people in the world. Which is fine with me if that means they are really in tune with the doggie world!
Chuck and Lynn were great to work with. I’d call when a litter was expected to see if our little boy had been born. We’d chat about travel and Japan and Shibas. Finally, we got to meet our little puppy when he was five weeks old. Both of his parents are champions (we met them too) and just beautiful.
When we brought him home Lynn went through all the does and don’t, gave us some starter food, showed us samples of bad things (like foxtails) and how to grind down his nails. We had a whole packet of paperwork and everything was explained to us.
Our little guy has been amazing. He’s staying a dark red and his temperament is wonderful. Many Shibas are not friendly with other dogs and people and while we have heavily socialized Zuko, he has had a good temperament from day one — clearly a reflection of his breeding. We’ve actually had daycares and other dog professionals tell us he’s one of the best Shibas they have ever seen!
