Great exam great eyeglasses experience highly recommended
I had some problems with the prescription I brought in. So they gave me a new exam. Then when it seemed like I had some further problems they worked with me to get and entirely new full exam
Doctors were extremely knowledgeable about all sorts of problems I was thrilled with the service I have received
The office was a little hard to find
it is way in the back of a medical complex of offices

This was my first time and I tell ya… it was the most enjoyable and very knowledgeable appointment. As I entered the office I felt very welcome and as I was sitting in the waiting room I felt relaxed. .peaceful and positive atmosphere. Dr. Lum explained more to me then any other eye exam I have ever had. The whole staff has fabulous Customer Service.

Great doctors here who really take the time to listen and help. I saw Dr. Jane Lo the first time and had a great experience. She’s no longer working there, but I have been seeing Dr. Arthur Low since then and couldn’t be happier. Dr. Low was full of helpful suggestions that helped me find the best contact lens for my aging eyes (presbyopia). It’s obvious he continues to stay up on the latest technologies in his field rather than rest on his laurels and that’s something that means a lot to me in a doctor. As for the rest of the staff, everyone is friendly and accommodating, and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing optometry services. They also have a decent selection of eyewear available too. Mention you found them on Unilocal and receive a discount off your eyewear purchase.

I have been coming to Campbell Optometric Group for several years, and this review is long overdue. Dr. Lum is the most professional, friendly and all around pleasant healthcare professional I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing. I feel he is very thorough in his examination and I trust him unequivocally. As an example, I opted in for the retina photograph offered by his office the past two years which is not covered by insurance. He nonetheless recommended against it because there has been no noticeable change in my eyes or vision. I truly believe that Dr. Lum has the best interests of his patients in mind and I highly recommend him as an Optometrist.

The Doctor is good. The staff not so much, They made a mistake on the glass lenses. Told me different stories. They were not accommodating to meeting with me for a fitting appointment. And they charged me for something that was covered by the insurance. I later found out what the charge was actually for. But had to wait for my glasses for over a month. When I confronted them about their mistake they turned around and told me that I was the one who misunderstood. They didn’t take responsibility for their mistake. I will probably take my business some place else. And not to mention the receptionist is extremely rude. I understand that the doctor was kind but this is his business and that includes everybody on his staff.

Maybe the doctor is good but the receptionist was rude and unprofessional over the phone and refused to even look up if they took my insurance.

I recently took my family to see Dr. Rodney Lum. I wish all doctors would be as nice as he was. His staff was very welcoming even at 8:00 in the morning. Dr. Lum was very thorough with my eye exam and answered any questions I had. My family and I will definitely be returning!

If I could give more stars I would. I have never had a better experience with any medical office as I had with Campbell Optometric Group.
I initially decided to book an appointment with the office based on my interaction with the receptionist. She was incredibly friendly, patient and understanding. An excellent representation of the office.
My appointment with Dr. Low was thorough and he is generally concerned with his patients’ well-​being and eye health. He helped me make the best decisions for my eyeglass and contact needs, while working within budget, rather than trying to sell me a product that is more expensive or beyond my needs.
Thank you to the entire office for taking the time to ensure my needs were met, especially so close to lunchtime! I hope to refer as many people as possible to your office and will go to you for all my eyeglass and contact lens needs in the future!

I have been seeing Dr. Rodney Lum for over ten years. I can not say enough about the positive experiences I have had not only with him, but with his entire office staff. Dr. Lum is patient and explains everything very clearly. Unlike some other doctors I’ve visited, I NEVER feel like Dr. Lum is in a hurry to get on to his next patient. He is personable and kind. I look forward to my visit with him, knowing I will get excellent care from someone who truly cares about my family and me.
His office staff is friendly and helpful. They run their appointments perfectly on time, which means they don’t overbook and make people feel rushed. I really appreciate that.

While I like Dr Low a lot, I have to deduct a couple of stars because his office staff isn’t really so friendly in my experience.
In fact, I finally changed to another optometrist as I was tired of feeling that I was an inconvenience whenever I came to the office.
Still, I have great regard for Dr Low. He is always friendly and extremely knowledgable. He’s a great optometrist. I just wish his staff was as nice as he is.

I was really impressed by Dr. Rodney Lum. He took the time to read my medical forms beforehand do he knew my background and he was very personable. He really took the time to educate me on what was happening with my health and how to make it better. He walked me through every step of the appointment. His staff was great, too. Eliza was so sweet and helpful. She answered all my questions and really made the entire experience positive. I’m so glad I found this place.

Got a metal flake in my eye Saturday. Called the office Sunday am. They had Dr’s number for emergencies so I figured I’d call. Didn’t leave a massage but he called me right back. Told me he was fishing otherwise he would come in on his day off and I’m not even a patient.
What great service. He’ll get my business in the future for sure!

First, let me say that I researched a LOT of optometric offices — probably over about a 75 mile radius — hoping to find the right one. Thankfully, I have, and it is Campbell Optometric Group!
The reason I was so discerning is that a local optometrist in my area did an epic fail in their attempt (s) to make me a pair of progressive eyeglasses I could actually wear. As I have ²⁰⁄₁₅ corrected vision, it wasn’t as if I had some bizarre/​impossible to achieve prescription. After my local optometrist’s third (3^rd) fail, I knew I needed to find somebody who really knew what they were doing.
So, thankfully I discovered Campbell Optometric Group! The Unilocal reviews helped immensely, and I took a leap of faith — and a long drive from Hollister — and had an outstanding examination by Dr. Lum. He was extremely knowledgable, personable, and answered all of my questions. He also took photographs of my retinas, which were amazing.
I then met with the amazing Aliza, who was great, and helped me navigate the sea of frame choices available. She was patient, knowledgeable, and personable, and It didn’t take long to find the ideal frames for me. She took measurements, and ordered progressive lenses to the specified standards (with requisite materials, coatings, etc.).
During the time I waited for my new glasses to come in, I limped along with my existing pair of 4-​year old glasses, and crossed my fingers that my new glasses would finally be something that worked. I got a call for Michelle (also awesome) and came in this week to try them out.
WOW! Finally! Campbell Optometric Group nailed it – on their first (1^st) try. These are the best eyeglasses I have ever owned, and they are crystal clear throughout the spectrum of my prescription. After having other clinics fail me on multiple occasions, it was so refreshing to find success — and an awesome experience — this time around. I took advantage of their exam/​glasses $pecial on their Unilocal page, and found them to be reasonably priced.
Take it from me (and the others who have glowing reviews here), make this your shop. It’s worth the drive, and it’s really a no-​brainer! Thank you, Dr. Lum, and associates, for restoring my faith in optometric professionals. AAA+++

Dr Rodney Lum was great, polite and knowledgeable. I wasn’t quite happy about 2 things tough.
1. Their pricing. When I made the appointment on the phone I was told I will only be charged the customary $ 10-​$ 15 copay for eye exam and my insurance would cover the rest. However they charged me additional $ 60 for ‘contact lens checkup’, I wasn’t sure what that meant and did not get a clear answer when I asked.
2. Their frames collection was rather disappointing.

Dr. Jane Lo and staff are wonderful! The process of getting an eye exam is informative and related back to how health factors in the overall health of the eyes throughout
our life. Dr. Jane takes the time to listen and address your concerns. She has a caring demeanor that allows you to feel confident and self-​assured that you are in the right office! I highly recommend the great service and care. I highly recommend the whole staff!

Dr. Jane Lo is extremely helpful and caring and did I mention that she can speak both Mandarin & English? (Woohoo~!)
I’ve visited Dr. Jane Lo couple times and every time she makes me feel comfortable and relaxing.
She always check my eyes gently and make sure that I have no other issues with my eyes.
She’s very easy going and down to earth.
Because of Dr. Jane Lo’s patience I was able to get the contact lenses that fit my eyes the best.
(Seriously, it took me a year to find the best contact lenses for my eyes because they always dry out and make my eyes really uncomfortable.)
She gave me couple samples to try on for few weeks and wait for me to come back to have 2^nd check-​up on the lenses.
She also helped me to check my insurance coverage and saved me some $$$.
I’ll definitely recommend her to everyone.

Dr. Jane Lo is best optometrist!
She’s extremely personable who addresses all your concerns and questions. She truly cares a lot about your eye health and provides great information.
As she does your eye exams, she explains each step and makes you feel very comfortable. She’s thorough and you don’t feel rushed.
I live an hour away but it’s worth the long trip to visit Dr. Jane Lo because she’s just that great!
I’ll be recommending her to everyone who is looking for an optometrist.

You don’t win Campbell’s Business of the Year several times for no reason! Dr. Low and his entire staff are very friendly, professional and very good at what they do. I came here with a Unilocal deal and a recommendation from friends. I have terrible eyesight so going to my yearly appointment is my norm. I was never a loyal Optometry client before, but I think I found my exception. Thanks Dr. Low!

My days of squinting are over!
Did a search on local optometrists and found that this small office is not only close to home, but they had a great Unilocal deal as well. For $ 95 I was able to get a comprehensive eye exam, plus 20% off a new pair of specs.
Dr Hsieh was very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I hadn’t been to an optometrist in years so I was filled with questions that she was more than prepared to answer. I tend to dislike clinical environments as I don’t enjoy being poked and prodded by various devices, and I’m glad to say that that usual anxiety was not a factor due to the warm environment.
The selection of frames at Campbell Optometric is also quite solid and the woman in charge of setting you up with glasses was awesome. She helped me pick a fabulous pair of frames that I’ve received a ton of compliments on. Thanks!
Nice to finally have everything in focus after procrastinating on this for so long. If you live in the area, I can’t recommend this place enough.
